" We stay there because it accepts animals and is convenient. The room was very clean. The bed is not what my bad back can sleep on but managed a few hours. The blanket on the bed could be newer. It was coming apart and very holy. Other than that, it's a good place to stay for overnight and if you have an animal. Staff is very nice. "

"Two years ago we stopped at the El Capitan for a meal and were impressed with the character of the place, in fact, so much so we decided to come back to spend a night during our winter travels this year. This is a wonderful old hotel which has been thoroughly updated but it still retains all of its original charm.
