Beds were very hard, and unfortunately it was the noisiest place I have EVER stayed in (and I used to live above a nightclub!). We could hear every word of conversation in other apartments and I don't know if it was the water or something else, but there was a noise like an aircraft taking off roughly every 10 minutes, day and night.
