Jerusalem 2 Stars Hotels

"The property seemed somewhat run down although the room was clean. The internet wasn't working in some rooms, including mine. I was told I could use the internet in the breakfast room, in the main part of the building where the check-out counter is. So I only had internet when I left my room. The phone didn't work in my room. The tv worked so I found some good shows to watch and that got me through with a smile on my face. I liked the smell of the soap in the room and I liked the 2 bed non-smoking room. The fish tank in the lobby was nice. The breakfast didn't have any bacon and sausage like some hotels have, but the toast and yogurt was good. I was initially majorly disappointed that things were not better, but at the same time had a good time anyway because just enough was good enough. The hotel is close to a gas station. There were no restaurants across the street like on Mall Road hotels. But it wasn't too far from there. The price was half of what I usually pay, so in that sense it wasn't a bad deal. Thanks."

"My husband and I literally walked to the room and walked right back out! The place smelled horrible, there was still old coffee in the coffee pot. We went back to the check in counter and told the guy working that we were not staying there. The place looked so ghetto!!!"

"The key we had didn’t work. We were at the very end so we had to walk all the way to the front for another key. It was late and chilly. The front desk staff was very friendly and apologetic. Room was clean. Bathroom was tiny. The air didn’t work that well. "

"The hotel stay was extremely disappointing. The rooms were dirty, the cleaning was terrible, and there was a strong, awful smell in the corridors. The manager even said they cook in the rooms, which is a fire hazard and a huge safety issue. Despite booking a non-smoking room, it smelled strongly of smoke. The entire property should be non-smoking, but even the rooms failed this standard. I would give zero stars if I could—completely unacceptable."

"Staff were very friendly & helpful; the room was clean, the bed was comfy, I even forgot to pacj a toothbrush & they had wrapped toiletries at the front desk. "

"The property was nice and everyone was very helpful. Everything was super clean and the breakfast was yummy. I even worked out in the gym that they had and it did the job."
