"The location was great, both for views and for convenience. The facilities were good, onsite parking was easy, and breakfast was delicious. Best of all, our hostess Noreen was cordial, helpful and kind. She wrote out directions to the national park, answered our questions, and had cookies ready for our arrival. "We stayed in the shepherd's hut, it was really lovely, private and tranquil. The wood burner is a great addition and ensured we stayed very cosy evrn though it was freezingoutside. The surrounding area is beautiful, lots of walks, a beautiful lake and lots of wildlife. The lodge was comfortable and really well equipped for cooking and relaxing. Hope to return in tje summer."

"As I know the area, found it very easy. Everything was clean and tidy on arrival, and as our mobility is not great, having everything on one level was brilliant. Always plenty to do and luckily weather was excellent, lucky us. Will be looking to book again next year hopefully."
