"This was a surprise to me. While marketed as a hostel, they provided impeccable service. The staff were helpful and friendly; and the location is superb. It is directly opposite the Hualien Train Station (you can see the green building from the station, and vice-versa). Saves you the trouble of finding a taxi or alternative transport (which is helpful as it is difficult to get an Uber ride in Hualien).
