「Absolutely loved the place. Everyone was over the top helpful & kind, ensuring that we had a great experience. The only thing that threw us was a $100. Fee per person that was explained to us as facility fees for the pool & beach. We were fine with the fee but later we were told that the pool was for children only. We were not happy about that as there were days when we would have preferred hanging at the pool rather than the beach. We dealt with the situation but it was a pretty expensive fee...

Parking on the streets is not easy to find. Might need to drive around to find one.
Host forgot to provide the coupons for breakfast for 3 days out of 4 days stayed there. Coffee shop was just ok for simple coffee and croissant.」

「My husband and I stayed 3 nights and we had a wonderful stay. The staff is friendly, polite and very helpful. A big thank you to Roberta at front desk who helped us and gave great advice on where to go eat and visit. Breakfast was top notch as well. Just perfect to start your day! It is a family owned hotel and they take so much pride in their property and you can tell. About a 8 minute walk to the city center so convenient no car needed. We loved everything and wish we could stay longer. ...

「Beautiful 4 person room, great for a family with a lot of space. The building and architecture has a ton of character, and the location is great in Catania. Staff is very attentive and friendly, they helped me carry my bags up the 2 flights of stairs to the suites. The espresso was a nice touch. Bathroom is detached from the room itself, everything was clean. I’ll definitely come back next time I’m in Catania!」

「I should stay in the hotel 19&20 July a single room, I came early then I put my luggage in the lobby, go out for some sight seeing. When I come back prepare to take my room in the afternoon, the manager just told me some problem of water supply in the room, then bring me to another bed & breakfast nearby. Let me stay there 2 nights, and did not care of me at all. I should stay in a hotel that I paid for, he just send me to another B&B with what he said the excuse, no any compensation at all....

「In a word, Sergio, the host made the trip to Catania special. He was available to map out things to see and do, as well as calling a cab which is a challenge for this non Italian speaking tourist. I learned that the hotel is a family treasure that is being restored. Our penthouse rooms were spacious, updated, and sparkling clean. The shams on the pillows were starched to perfection. Definitely a gem.」
