「Although the reception is not opened for 24 hours, the duty staffs were helpful and friendly. The location of the hotel is a little bit far from the ferry terminal, it is still OK because Picton is safe even we needed to walk in the darkness between the terminal and the hotel. In addition, two supermarkets are not far away. I will choose this hotel again if I come back especially the room rate is reasonable. 」

「I had an amazing stay here during my five-week Oceania trip. My first night was unexpected—I needed an ambulance to the local hospital after a fall on the ferry—but the staff at Bay Vista were incredibly attentive throughout the whole ordeal. 「The rooms are clean and tidy. Unfortunately we have to share the toilet and bath which was very irritated because it was outside the cabins. My friend who is 72 years old and has to go to toilet at night time which is very inconvenient to her.」

「We were surprised with how close this was from the Interislander baggage claim, got there in about 3mins. This was great news because our ferry was delayed due to the awful weather on the Strait. The owner was there at reception well after 9pm to let us in. The owners were also very helpful, told us where to get supplies from and even let us leave our bag at reception while we went into town. On that note, it's also very close to town too, just a stones throw. 」
