Olgii

Travel Guide

Scenery that one comes across while heading to the location of 'Golden Eagle' Festival - a very commercial and unauthentic event, in my opinion. However, the sights are fantastic!

My oasis in Ölgii.
Nice staff, great cakes, pastries, and sea buckthorn juice.
Plus, you can have your main courses here, too (served straight to your table from Pamukkale sister-restaurant downstairs). Best food in town! Both Turkish.

P.S. Some of the few things that made me smile in Western Mongolia (story in Romanian)--

In a wayside canteen , on the road to Ulgii, Mongolia. A quick lunch stop. Usually dumplings and our own shot of Korean Soju ( rice wine ) to keep warm . Temperatures of -30C.

8/10 Very Good! (1 review)
Het is een mooie kamer, modern ingericht. Airco kan koelen en verwarmen. Uitzicht op het centrale plein in Olgii. Ontbijt is een standaardbordje, geen buffet. Wifi werkte af en toe.
