"Great location. Just past the main tourist walking street in Pingyao and it is accessible by licensed vehicles. The owner arranged a free pick up from the regular train station. Location is excellent. We also got upgraded to a better room with a larger bath. Room is very clean, bed is very comfy and owner is super nice explaining all the attractions, tours and shows patiently. The modernization of China has unfortunately seen many of its historical cities and landmarks destroyed. One that has been restored and untouched is the ancient walled city of Pingyao. This was one of the few times the crowds of this beautiful city weren't overwhelming and i could take in the beauty and awe of this awesome sight #china #pingyao #travel
