「We enjoyed every second of our stay. The location is very quiet, only about 15 minutes from the entrance to Wilpattu National Park. The villa and the entire property were in excellent and very well-maintained condition. The staff were consistently friendly, attentive, and helpful. This hotel deserves more than 5 stars. If you plan to visit Wilpattu National Park, this is the perfect place to stay.」

「Room was very clean, had a little bit of a strange smell when we first arrived and the bathroom smelled a little bit like drainage. We opened the window in the washroom and kept the door locked so it wasn't a problem. Staff is lovely and has a nice dog as well! We did the Safari through the hotel and it was a great experience! Une coupure de courant le soir, le personnel a tout fait pour rétablir au plus vite. Le gérant de l hôtel propose ses services de chauffeur pour des prix correct, très arrangeant. 」

「Leopard Trails is a fabulous rustic luxury camp in the beautiful Wilpattu Park. This was one of our favorite stays in all of Sri Lanka! The Naturalist guide who took us on safari was attentive, knowledgable, and a genuinely great guy. Back at camp, the rooms were comfortable and the private dining candle lit dinners were magically romantic. I recommend the suite with the plunge pool, it was bliss after a hot and dusty drive on safari. Do not miss the opportunity to visit this special place! 」

「Hotel would not honour the rate / amenities booked. At check-in informed they would not provide the amenities (game drive, afternoon tea each day) that were listed in the rate I booked. The manager blamed Expedia. The manger gave in partially and offered 1 x complimentary game drive, but this was not what we booked. Additional big negative. Room was also freezing. Asked for a blanket and told none were available - manager had an extra sheet delivered. We were told to wear more clothes if...

「It's definitely not a luxury camping experience. The facility is not clean and food is so so. It's not worth for the money we spent. The most serious problem is getting contact with the camp. We want to do a full day safari and we tried all means to contact the hotel - email/phone/whatsapp/hotels.com link but there's no reply. We end up arranging safari through our driver. It's quite disappointing.」

There is not much in the local area so you need to keep this in mind if planning to visit a shop or restaurant during your stay, it’s not really possible 」
