「Room was very clean, had a little bit of a strange smell when we first arrived and the bathroom smelled a little bit like drainage. We opened the window in the washroom and kept the door locked so it wasn't a problem. Staff is lovely and has a nice dog as well! We did the Safari through the hotel and it was a great experience! 「How can such property be even shown on the website?」

「It's definitely not a luxury camping experience. The facility is not clean and food is so so. It's not worth for the money we spent. The most serious problem is getting contact with the camp. We want to do a full day safari and we tried all means to contact the hotel - email/phone/whatsapp/hotels.com link but there's no reply. We end up arranging safari through our driver. It's quite disappointing.」

Would 100% recommend for all, the staff helped us with safari organisation, providing dinner as well as breakfast. An absolutely safe environment for all walks of life, even helped us fixed out tuktuk!!!! Would highly recommend to all, and couldn’t recommend more.」

「We enjoyed every second of our stay. The location is very quiet, only about 15 minutes from the entrance to Wilpattu National Park. The villa and the entire property were in excellent and very well-maintained condition. The staff were consistently friendly, attentive, and helpful. This hotel deserves more than 5 stars. If you plan to visit Wilpattu National Park, this is the perfect place to stay.」

「I just stayed one night but was super well and kindly looked after by Christopher and the team. The area is a little more remote than I realised so worth planning ahead for that, but it's really peaceful and full of wildlife – 100% worth venturing out for! The villas are really nicely done up, modern and super comfortable. Definitely recommend as an excellent nature base.」
