The hotel was a little bit hard to find at first especially now that the MRT station is under construction. It took us a few minutes but we managed to find it eventually after much searching. Hotel address did not reflect the street name and this was part of the problem. Google maps wasn't much help either. It just indicated we have arrived without ever indicating exactly where the hotel is. The closest MRT station is the NT Hospital (R 09) stop on the red line. From there take take the M4 exit walk straight across Peace Park the hotel is right there on the same street as the Museum/Peace Park. The hotel is clean however because of the dated and cosmetic issues it will seemed dirty even though you can see the staff cleaning everything everyday specially the public spaces. The front sidewalk of the hotel is fully carpeted all the way to the curb in pink heavily stained carpeting. Throughout the hotel are small little cosmetic fixes and updates. But most importantly our room was spacious, clean and comfortable furniture (bed) and fixtures. We stayed a total of 9 nights so we were given 2 appointments for housekeeping maintenance during our entire stay. Bedding, linens & room amenities are provided. We were quite happy & was not expecting all of these but it made for a very pleasant stay. We discovered that accessibility to all the buses & MRT made our stay even more enjoyable. Liked the small museum next door as well and the park. Walking around was very safe.

Wonderful hotel with a friendly staff!! We had a terrific, spacious room! I hope to stay at the Evergreen Laurel again in the future!

We enjoyed our stays. Room was clean but no window. Service was good.

5 minute walk to Raoke street market. Amazing! 25 minute walk to Taipei 101. Ten second wak to the bus and train. The room was super clean and spacious. Front desk staff is always around, however, most do not speak English. WELL DONE IRIS for doing a super job. Very helpful. The VIP coupon was non existent. The one thing lacking in this hotel is a bar. But then again, there are four 7-11's within a block and finding drinks is really easy. For what I needed this was a great location because my time was split amongst several districts. And the price was hard to beat.
