Was awaken by the loud fire alarm that sounded like a wailing female ghost. There was no staff around to direct us. hotel guests didnt know what to do since we were not instructed.

Good price in Ximen. Recommended
The air-conditioner is not controllable. I tried to set it hotter or colder. No change at all. The water pressure is very low. Taking a shower is not enjoyable. The location is excellent. Close to the subway and bus stations. A lot of thing to eat. The hotel is on 10th floor. It is quiet at all.

Overall is good for short stay. Space is good, come with 2-seater sofa. Mattress is firm enough for me, pillow is about too soft. Location definitely is convenience, within Ximen Ding. Although there is a "Dancing Club" just below the level, they only operate 2pm to 10pm. So it does not bother me. However, at night, must close the window, as it is facing the main road. Overall the noice is acceptable. Shower facilities ：hot water is good. effective. but all wall tiles moody. Cleanliness overall is good. Just window blinds with fair bit of dust and dirt.

Great location but...
Reception lady is very nice, helpful and kind. Upgraded my room as i was a bit early . Hotel is very near MRT, finding the entrance at start might be tricky but easily managed. The room however isn't clean, with lots of stains on walls, bed sheets etc. mold, spider web and dust are much seen everywhere. As well as tiny bugs (thankfully it wasn't bed bugs, i think!) Good for solo traveler that just want a affordable place to stay, sleep and bathe. And near transport. Aside from that not recommended

Close to Ximen station but a little hard to find. Easy access to Ximending for some good food and shopping. Noise from the pub downstairs subsided at late evening hour. Shower curtain too tall, water splash into the toilet making a wet mess

Friendly staff at 24/7 help desk. But cleanliness was of poor standard. Bed was dirty, got a little rash on my neck area the next morning after sleeping on the pillow.

Great location in Ximen! Very easy to get to the subway station, bars, etc. The front desk staff was incredibly helpful and the room was very clean. My one small complaint was the noise from downstairs from a neighboring business, but the front desk staff informed me ahead of time that it would only last from 1-9:30pm and they were right. Thanks for a great stay!

Excellent location, 1min from Ximen station exit 6 and Ximen's shopping and food district where all action takes place! Fairly clean, not yet to my expectations as I found some hair strands on the pillows upon checking in. The staff is helpful in allowing us to switch room as my parent was not able to climb up n down the stairs in the room. The wall is thin and hotel is located above a ktv lounge. The loud music from the lounge stops at around 10pm daily. And if other hotel guest talk loudly or let go of their room's door in the middle of the night, you may be woken up if you are light sleeper/sensitive to sounds.

This hotel is located at a convenient location (centre of Ximending) About 3 mins walk to Ximen station Exit 6. Thought it was going to be noisy since there was a ktv located one level down of the hotel, however it was not that noisy. The staff was friendly and helpful as well. Fast check in. Will book this hotel again, if going back taipei.

Location is more convenient because around the shopping area and nearby the train station. “But Environment is more noise because downstairs is Karaoke. The sound are quick loud.” Toilet and the floor carpet not so cleaner. Got many little hair.

Is very convenience and great location, just 100m from MRT station. KTV at down stair is an issue, is annoying if you would like to rest in day time, but lucky they stopped after 10-11PM. Bathroom equipment is old, towel tray broken, shower head cannot hold properly, cleaner did not clean the toilet daily. Overall satisfied.

Staff were friendly and Super helpful. Great customer service. Excellent location at Ximending. Unfortunately cleanliness was a big issue. As I was about to sleep, I removed the blanket and saw 3 strands of short hair on the head pillow. As I opened further, I saw that there was a Long strand of hair and more short hairs. Obviously, the sheets were never changed and only straightened up for the effect of ‘cleaning’. I was very disgusted as I cannot imagine sleeping in other people’s perspiration etc. I had to wrap myself up in Long clothes to sleep as I couldn’t be bothered to make a fuss. This is a big no no for me. Despite the friendly staff and fantastic location, I cannot imagine coming back unfortunately

Good location. above ah zhong mian xian. Hard to find, couldnt find on google map, went to wrong hotel. the other hotel told us where's the location, hard to u-turn. Clean room. daily cleaning. come with mini fridge and hair dryer. daily cleaning is slow, when we returned around 3pm plus (we left around 11am plus), they were cleaning our room

The hotel was amazing. The location is located at ximending walking district. 2 mins walk from the train station. Very convenient. Service staff is always friendly and polite. Room is satisfaction. Just nice for the two of us. I would totally go back to the same hotel the next time round.

Value for Money!
Location was really convenient although it took me some time to locate the entrance into the building. The staff at the hotel was friendly and helpful too! The room is not spacious but sufficient since I hardly spend a lot of time in the room. TV was covered with dust (visible) and not sure if other non-visible areas are dusted as well. Water drainage in the shower area was not good. Wifi not available in the room. There was a card left on the night stand that explained their part for being eco-friendly. If we need the bed sheets to be replaced, please place the card on the bed. As I am happy with re-using the sheets, I left the room without the card on the bed. When I returned to the room at the end of the day, I was shocked to find my bed left ruffled as it was in the morning. At first I thought the room was not made, but upon checking, my towels and bottled water were replaced. So, their eco-friendliness included saving of effort to make the bed as well! I stayed for 4 nights and every day the bed was left as it was...after I made the bed myself before I leave the room.

conveniently located near exit 6 of xi men station. if you are in the room in the late afternoon, you would be able to hear music coming from the night club located one floor below. not recommended if you like peace and quiet. for directions: if you are coming from along the main road, look out for dr martens, then follow the signs which lead to you 'airline hotel' which is situated in the same building as walker hotel. Upon seeing the stairs, turn in and walk past the stairs to find the lift lobby. if you are coming from the alley with ay chung mian xian, there's a prominent black sign for walker hotel. do also try out the local breakfast shops in sight when you are coming from the lift lobby!

Present stay in Taipei
It is a single floor hotel located on level 10 of a building within ximending. It is just a few steps from ximen metro station exit 6. Location is very convenient as we can easily grab breakfast/lunch/dinner downstair and do last minute shopping in ximending. Wifi is strong and stable. There are only 2 downsides of the hotel: 1. There is a pub on level 9 of the same building. You can hear music and feel the vibration starting from noon to 10pm. My mum and I took a red-eye flight and were hopping to take a day nap on the first day but we were very disturbed by the music and vibration. Fortunately, the music stopped after 10pm and we were able to sleep through the nights. 2. The shower head is installed right behind the toilet door. In order not to splash the water out of the toilet and wet the carpet, we have to shower in the bath tub. Crawling in and out of the tub is very inconvenient if I am bringing elderly. Overall, we had a present 4-nights stay, the room was clean and staffs were very friendly and helpful. :)
