PROS: The room is quite clean, with the usual amenities. The park view from a high floor room l is excellent. CONS: The hotel lacks flexibility for early check in, they charge half a day for all early check ins before 3PM. The receptionist was not accomodating like other hotels at this level and price range.

While the building may look a bit old, it is kept in excellent condition. The rooms are also really clean; staff are friendly and always willing to help. There is also a lovely snack pack provided daily with 2 bottles of water - all free of charge. I would probably choose to stay at the same hotel if I will be travelling to Taipei again.

1. I like the location of the hotel. It is very centrally located and has a lot of options for MRT lines and buses. 2. The hotel offers simple afternoon coffee and snacks. 3. The staffs are friendly. Front desk staffs are helpful. 4. The only inconvenient is the elevators are small. But there were not that many people at the time we were there.

Every day plate of fruit and snacks delivered to your room. Down stairs a cafè you help your self to hot drinks and snack. Everywhere is in walkable distance and not a hill i sight. A truly great hotel.

There is a free coffee bar downstairs in the afternoon. All drinks and snacks are free. You serve yourself. In your room you are also given a plate with fruit and snacks.

Serene, clean room (except for the day of the earthquake, when the lamps fell and water came out of the toilet) Best shower I've ever experienced They let us leave our bags when we left for a couple days. Very nice, comfortable hotel with courteous staff.

Transportation is very very convenient-subway and bus close by, walking 3 minutes. Cross street is a forest park, enjoying walking and bicycle sports. Restaurants are nearby.....etc etc. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Provided collapsible crib for our child on short notice and set it up themselves. Love this place! Been here twice in the past 11 months and will stay here again next visit to Taipei.

Great place to stay. Walls are a little thin, so possibly reconsider if you're sensitive (but it was always pretty quiet, especially after 10pm). A/C was kind of minimal but did work well enough. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was excellent - right off the Metro and across from Da'an Forest Park.

Good location. There is an annoying red light on the ceiling that is illumined very bright when all the lights are out. I found it hard to sleep. The bathroom didn’t really have a shower but half a shower where the water runs out of shower onto the floor. There is no balcony. The bed was awful the pillows were awful. There was a huge lump in the bed. It hurt my back. I would not stay here again.

View is great overlooking the park if you get the view room. Not many outlets near bed and no switch to turn off ceiling lights. You have to take room key out to have the lights off. The furniture was a little old but okay. Closet is very small for clothes to hang.

This is such a charming hotel located in a great part of Taipei, with great restaurants and metro stations nearby. Da'an Park is across the street and it is just a lovely spot to start your morning with a cup of coffee. Rido Hotel also has such kind, terrific staff, everyone was helpful and friendly. I recommend the Rido Hotel.

It’s a nice room and it’s clean. I was feeling unwell though so I sled the front desk if I can have any medicine since it was late night. They couldn’t offer me anything and there’s no alternatives. Geez at least figure out where is the closest open pharmacy… Then my usb charger was broken and again it was late night and I asked if they have a spare. Again the front desk can only answer please go to an electronics store at 10pm. It was freezing outside and I found a supermarket that sold this after a while. If the lobby counter is so useless maybe they should all just work from home and the hotel can cut more cost because I don’t see them bringing any value in person.
