VERY CLEAN & MODERN
While they also have individual rooms, I stayed in a dorm room. Everything is super clean and very new. Great location near Taipei main, it was raining and I navigated through city mall underground to within 150m from their door.

Solid 4/5 given the price I paid. Here are some points that haven’t been mentioned in other reviews: • Towel, toiletries and slippers are provided • Hair dryers are not hot if you use them too late • breakfast vouchers (TWD70) are provided for local stalls around the hotel, really nice initiative and enjoyed the food a lot • 1 floor, 2 bathrooms 2 showers. Toilet gets clogged easily, saw somebody’s big floating poop • Common area is not crowded and lovely for relaxing • I found 1 bug on my covers but so far doesn’t seem to be a bed bug.

Booked the room with balcony. However, it is so different from the photos as shown in Expedia. Although there is disclaimer that the balcony might slightly differs from the photo, it is too much of a difference in my opinion. Next, the tv controller was not working. A cleaning staff assisted me and turns out it was due to the battery of the tv controller. She then helped me to replace the battery of the controller. It was mentioned that there is rainfall showerhead, however this is not the case. Overall, not satisfied with the stay. Not returning.

Is a great place to stay during my trip at Taipei. Very close to the station and to the airport express train station. 7-11 is just next to it. Hostel staff were all very friendly. With card key to access to the room and to open my cabinet. Love the toilet it is dry and clean. As well as the bed. Highly recommended!!!!!!

Second time staying here, first doing a hostel setup. It was great! It’s always going to be up to the conscientious of the people you’re sharing the room with, no problem here. The staff is very helpful and the area is very convenient for transport. Five star experience!

Affordable Quality stay
I am there for business, this is really the best I can find. Location is just 2mins walk from exit Y13,just beside is 7-11 Come with lift which some of the hostel nearby doesn't. Level 4 public area also very comfortable if u want to relax they also provide free coffee.😊 And locker that fits in your cabin luggage, feel safer. Highly recommended for solo who want to look for cheap but quality stay. Last but not least staff are very friendly.

Loves: The friendly and accommodating staff; LOCATION (very near Taipei Main Station, and even nearer to Taoyuan MRT Station, barely 5 mins walk), cleanliness Likes: Near places of interest, safety of the surrounding Dislikes: Noisy, very noisy. Transport, people talking etc. View outside the room is of the streets or other people's windows. Recommendation to the hostel: Can probably install a thicker sound cancelling window panes

BEST hostel in the world!
Simply amazing! I've stayed in many hostels around the world and this one is by far THE BEST. So much so that I stayed twice there for almost an entire month. The design of the rooms is quite unique and super comfortable. The common areas are always kept clean and impeccable. The staff were welcoming, kind and very accommodating. And the location just couldn't be better. Taiwan is an amazing place and Meander 1948 just made the whole experience so much more memorable. Will definitely return when I go to Taipei next time.

being a hostel, we had access to the common area even though our room had its own amenities. it was great being able to take a nap before our room was ready because we arrived early, as well as on the last day to rest for a few minutes, repack, and fill up our water bottles. fantastic place, 5 min walk from the taipei main station airport line (walk directly north across the street)

Exceed expectation for hostel
Booked a 4 mixed dorm initially and changed to 8 female dorm when arrived as the shared toilet is only open to ladies only which is more convenient. Very convenient from airport train, 3min walk from station exit. Walkable to ningxia night market too. Breakfast voucher for LiJi eatery which is short walk from accom and food is yummy too.

Good location and good quality
The staff is helpful and friendly. Very clean and the bed is very comfortable. They provided the breakfast ticket to try local food. Very delicious!! I definitely will choose to stay here again if I need to visit the area.

Very nice hostel with great common area and clean/modern rooms (i had a private room). The location is also a big plus, being very close to transport and in the middle of everything! I loved my stay there and i highly recommend it.
