I do not think the room was worth $400 (eg shower could be cleaner re mould in grouting (even though it has been cleaned surface-wise - no complaints there) & bottom of shower door). Do not know why there is a $1.00 hold in case items were used in the room as there was nothing anyway (eg mini bottles of alcohol, soft drinks, chocolates), except for the complementary sparkling wine (appreciated) & 4 mini UHT milks. The gentleman who was working during our stay was excellent.

It was indeed a very busy weekend in Sydney with Taylor Swift, SailGP, Mardi Gras etc so the prices reflected the demand of the area. In regards to the 1.00 hold, this is incase you use the QR code in the room to charge anything back to the hotel, if you purchase breakfast, use the parking facilities or place any charges on the room. The 1 ensures we have a working card on file. This is consistent across all hotels and does so to ensure purchases can be paid for should you leave without coming to the front desk. I am so glad to hear regarding the gentleman over the weekend! I will look into who this was and pass on the feedback!Kind regards,Scott

The location is brilliant easy access to Sydney, Manly. The parking is easy and right there. The rooms are a good size and comfortable for that working or social visit. The staff are super helpful and have helped me out a few times now as I have needed to fix mistakes in my booking as a busy grandmother rushing between cities to help with little one and then to attend Board meetings.

Was fine, though looked a bit tired. Nothing wrong with the place. Close enough to Dee Why, though still a bit of a walk.

NOT worth the value -they could have included Free Parking ( $20 per day) and included 2 bottles of water per day for what they charge per day,, The shower pressure was atrocious ,(needs to be updated) Otherwise convenient location for our needs however a little noisy surroundings,

While the building, corridors etc appeared a little "tired", our room was well appointed, open and fresh. The car parking was secure and easily accessible. We found the staff very friendly, professional and friendly. We only had breakfasts during our stay and rate it very good.

Food was not good. Cooked by a novice. Sold as a king bed but it was 2 singles pushed together. No top sheet on bed only doona. To hot with it on too cold wit it off. Would I recommend staying there? If you were desperate.

Ripped off with car parking. $20 a night to park. They have 100 spaces and in Brookvale. Not the city.

Staff on arrival on 4 Dec were very courteous & helpful but staff on duty next morning & at breakfast need better training - I felt dismissed upon checkout & was not treated respectfully. Breakfast was pretty decent. Was charged twice for my stay, apparently they knew but didn't try to contact me. When I called for a refund there was no manager/deputy manager who could authorise a refund. Shame this spoiled my stay

Room was clean and tidy. Bathroom facilities look outdated, and the shower head in our room was split, so water was spraying everywhere. Shower door also didn't seal properly. Beyond that, it was a pleasant stay!

Queen sheets on a King bed, so everything was loose as soon as you moved. Top sheet was worn thin and out on my side, so had to be careful not to rip the existing tear in it. No side lamps and bed was pushed up against power outlet, so had to slide bed back to gain access. Noisy at times from the car washing operation across the road. Nice foyer. Booking not registered, as I had chosen to pay at end of stay rather than upfront via LM website. Still had to pay in full after they fixed the booking the next morning. Overall it was fairly disappointing and is in desperate need of a makeover.
