Jun 7, 2019As every place else in Sicily, driving is a nightmare. Dangerous, stressful, and no actual rules of the road. Lots of people blaring horns. The beaches that are easily accessible are not very special.

"Stunning restoration of a Baron's country estate house. Our suite included a loving area and enormous private patio with views of the agrarian countryside. Town of Realmonte was small and authentic, not touristy. Would stay again for the country feel."

When we checked in the first room allocated smelt and clearly needed some plumbing work… the staff immediately moved us to a larger room which was kind. "Die Einrichtung ist sehr stilvoll und modern. Leider hatte unser Zimmer im Schlafzimmer kein richtiges Fenster - nur eines, was in einen dunklen Innenschacht geht. Das liegt daran, dass die Unterkunft in einer kleinen Gasse sehr nahe der Altstadt liegt. Für eine Nacht war es für uns jedoch kein Problem. ..."
