I went to the restaurant and ordered a gluten free meal. It was listed as gluten free on the electronic board outside the restaurant and another outside the bar. I ordered the meal, brought it to my room and ate it. I then found out it was NOT gluten free. The manager said he changed the paper menus but not the electronic ones. I told him his staff should let people know when someone orders gluten free food-that it is not gluten free! This is an awful thing to do to someone who is celiac. I was sick that night and had continuing symptoms for more than a week after. I will never go back there and will not recommend this hotel to anyone. The room was clean but the light switch did not turn anything on or off. When we got into the room we had to find a lamp in the dark.

The resort location and view are very nice. Staff members were polite and helpful. The rooms need some updating to make this a 5-star. The balcony was hot and had no air flow due to the solid wall and the a/c unit pouring exhaust heat into the area. Not a bad place for a night or two, but not the most comfortable sleep.

We enjoyed the convenience of the marina close by where our boat was and the rooms were comfortable with a lovely view. We were disappointed with the cart shuttle down to the marina as it’s a long walk. We waited an hour at one point and was given confusing messages on where to wait,etc.

This hotel is alright, but has two significant drawbacks. The first is that it is isolated from the town, and to get to anywhere else requires a bit of travel. Not bad if you want a location that is quiet and doesn't have a lot of hustle and bustle. The major downside to this hotel is that it was built using light-weight construction. That means you can hear everyone walking across the floors, walking up and down the hallway, and even the conversations of your neighbors. A very noisy hotel, to put it mildly. You will need either a noise machine or earplugs if staying here. The staff is pretty non-chalant and isnt in a hurry to go the extra mile. Adequate to stay at for a night but I def wouldnt stay any longer than that.

The property was clean and the room was very nice. The only negative that surprised me was that the property is on Arizona park property, and you may have to buy a $30 park pass to get to the hotel, unless you have one, such as an annual pass.
