This property is the one we booked with the thought “let’s splurge a little”
It seemed to have everything going for it, high end, great location, beautiful views, plenty of restaurants on the premises, a spa, pool and baths…
The staff were very friendly and polite, they would insist in making up the room every day, which we found unnecessary.
The area is dedicated to businesses so it was completely dead in the evening, all businesses closed, no convenience stores around open late. The hotel charges extra for using the pool, gym, spa facilities (per use) and oddly enough you are provided with only ONE key.
The only bending machine was located by the parkade, a 5min walk away from elevators.
Our first night there was during the weekend and at nighttime we could hear every room around us with children running and jumping around, slamming doors and stomping back and forth.
The bathroom was what you would expect from a western style facilities with a dated look to it.
Everything was clean, plenty of toiletries provided, a newspaper everyday(which we never touched).
The restaurants were reservation only and only opened odd hours. The 2 bars on the premises closed at 11pm.
I believe we paid for location and size of the room but it was not worth it to us given that this was the splurge BECAUSE of the advertised facilities that ended up requiring extra charges. We ended up going to off-premises restaurants and onsens at a significantly reduced cost to enjoy our Osaka visit.
