It was also located within walking distance to the french quarter and the convention center. The neighborhood was clean and felt safe. The pool bar seemed like a hot spot but I never got to check it out. I would recommend staying here. "

"I have loved the ACE Hotel for years. I’ve probably stayed there more than any other guest. I found out today it will no longer be the ACE. The Hyatt Group purchased the hotel. I read they would not alter the interior, just changing the name. Time will tell. I will say this.., the name Hyatt and the vibe the ACE has had over the years doesn’t mesh well with me. "Front desk personal needs toninprove a lot"

"This location was fantastic. Close enough to the Bourbon but far enough to be quiet. I also loved the fact you can walk everywhere and that Royal (lots of art) was so close. Jeanette at the front desk was a delight and made us feel at home. The hotel does have a strange smell that never goes away. We would consider staying here again. "
