"Travelers please be aware this b&b does not have elevator. Nor will anyone help you with your luggage. We asked if we can be switched to a lower floor room since we had big luggages and were told they only prepare the rooms that were booked. So we had to carry the big luggage to the 3rd floor. Although it was a quiet week day night with many empty rooms, they refused to make any effort to make it more convenient for their customers. "Staff are helpful and polite. Stayed in room with lake view and it was quiet and peaceful (on Friday night). Breakfast variety is plenty too. Hotel provided complimentary fireflies watching as it happened to be fireflies mating season. It’s just a short walk to get public bus to Taichung HSR station and catching ferry at pier. There’s free 2 hours bicycle rental. If you are there on non peak season, they can allow u to use it for a couple hours. "

"Room with a very beautiful view. Very tranquil. It’s across the other side of the lake so you would have to take transport (ferry / bus) over to the hotel after arriving at sun moon lake. However, the neighbourhood around the hotel has a nice atmosphere. Recommended! It’s our favourite accoms this trip. "
