"We stayed at the beautiful Kaya villa. Our daughter was sick during our stay. Max our tour guide drove us to the doctor! Yoshko let us borrow her thermometer and brought us cookies. Everyone was incredibly kind and friendly - Taka our English speaking host exceedingly so. We also enjoyed the best dinner in Japan. Arigato for all the beautiful memories."

"I highly recommend a stay at Tokuheian if you are looking to experience Japan in a different way and away from the hustle and bustle of the major urban centers. "テレビとパジャマ、アメニティ(メイク落としと洗顔、化粧水など)無く、入浴はシャワーです。湯船につかりたい人は¥700を持って車で2分のホテルアマービレでお風呂だけ入りに行ってください。ちなみにアマービレホテルのお風呂も広くは無いので時間帯により混雑してます。その点をわかった上でゲートウェイに宿泊したので、パジャマとアメニティを準備して泊まったので何も不満もなく、お風呂はゲートウェイ備え付けのタオルを持ってアマービレに行きました。ゲートウェイは建物の4階にあり、部屋での飲食行為は禁止で、飲食は共有リビングです。私たちの行った時間帯はリビングに誰もおらず、フリーのコーヒーをいただいたり、持ってきた保冷剤を凍らしたり、お茶を冷やすのに冷蔵庫を使わせてもらったりしました。2人部屋を借りたのですが、隠れ家みたいで子どもに評判良かったです。寝るだけに利用するので部屋に何も不満はありませんでした。部屋も清潔でした。洗面所やトイレシャワーに関しては共有なので、使われる人が綺麗に使うなどしてくれるといいと思いますが、オーナーも割とウロウロしてて見回りしてくれるているのか、この点でも良いと思いました。"

"We booked a non smoking room but it found it to have a stale odour. They changed us to another room which wasn’t as bad but still had the odour. Room itself was very good with the traditional rock hard pillow but when you ask for non smoking you expect to get it. "
