Noise from outside all the night until 6am. Their staff argued with customers outside my room in the midnight. Cannot believe they call themselves a 4 star "Hotel". The dishwasher and washer were not able to use. The room is not soundproof.
Very comfortable stay and excellent service from the front desk (booked both early check in and late check out meaning I had a total of 48 hours occupation of the room and only for an additional £10 for each). As many reviews suggest, the rooms do lack vigour, feels like a big open space with very basic and minimal furnishings, but equally everything you need. Walls are extremely thin - the benefit of the late checkout I’d booked was somewhat negated by the very audible sound of the housekeeper clearing out the room next door. Location is close enough to the city centre but about 30 minutes walk to get into the very heart of it (you have to cross a bridge over the motorway). Doesn’t feel like a city centre hotel as a result. Parking in the car park opposite worked out cheaper than using the hotel car park for the two days I was there (this may be because it was the weekend).
