Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
The La Quinta Inn in Lancaster, PA has friendly staff and lovely views – and that’s where the compliments end.
The room looked like it had survived decades of neglect. The in-room phone? Purely decorative (doesn't work). The bathtubs had more brown rust than a shipwreck, the paint was peeling like it had a grudge, and the furniture looked like it was straight out of a '80s yard sale.
Breakfast was a daily exercise in disappointment. Picture the same sad spread of powdered, soggy, salty scrambled eggs, bagels, cereal, coffee, and juice – every single day. Fruit? None - they've never heard of it. Variety? Not in this universe. The boiled eggs were the lone, edible soldiers. Save yourself the misery and march over to the Waffle House across the street. You’ll thank me later.
I'd generously give this hotel 2.5 stars. The staff mentioned it's scheduled for renovation. Thank goodness.
