"Loved the layout of the property. Our villa(with plunge pool) was very close to the main pool and we never had any trouble getting a sunbed. Another pool was located right on the beach near the bar/restaurant area-it was perfect. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful especially Tim, she gave us directions, suggested places to eat and really looked after us. There wasn’t anything to dislike and we shall recommend it to others."

"We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel, its is an older resort but is very well maintained, more traditional Thai. Comfortable bed, Staff fantastic, good selection at breakfast the fresh juice was great. We had our own pool which was nice to cool off in after being at the beach all day, just needs some kind of rail to make it easier to get in and out of. "We enjoyed our stay with Chaweng budget. Paying the budget price allowed us to access the pools and beach by the Chaweng cove resort. The hotel is conveniently located with 7/11 right across the street and numerous restaurants and massages places nearby. Front desk staff is very nice and helpful although the English is a little hard to understand at times. I would certainly come back again or recommend it to any of my friends."

"The staff was great and friendly. Cleaning was done everyday except for sunday. They tended to your needs. The area around the hotel can be noisy at night due to the party bars and vehicles passing by. So if you want a good nights sleep....bring earplugs! The balcony doors are single pan so noise easily comes through."

"Although we only stayed here for two nights, my sister and I enjoyed our stay at the Escape Beach Resort as the staff was very kind and helpful. The room was comfortable and the restaurant was good for dinner and supper. The only downside of the hotel is it’s location as it’s situated down a very steep hill and some narrow roads which are quite scary to drive on.Taxis also cost more to come pick you up at the hotel as they have to drive down the steep hill. If you do stay there, consider renting...

"Nice hotel, friendly staff, good breakfast and great location for the ferry. However, the room was advertised as 33 metres but was more like 18 metres. They must be including the outdoor patio area which is completely misleading to guests. The room was tiny with no desk or chair, and nowhere to put your suitcase. Also, during my 3-night stay, we had no water 3-4 times and had to wait 1-1.5 hours for it to be fixed. This is disappointing and not good enough for when your time is limited to go...
