the room is great, breakfast is great but could have more variety of choices, the front counter staffs are great, the street foods around the premises are great, and the tourist spots nearby is good as well

Funky hostel
Nice place to stay. The beds in the dorm rooms are very comfy and private with its own blinds. The lounge area is large and the tv is big which is nice if you want to have a chill day/night.

1. Cute artsy hotel & good location. 2. Nice & friendly staff 3. Need to improve on breakfast. 4. A couple blocks away there is an amazing beef noodle restaurant ( ask the front desk for info).

Pretty art decorates the interior walls. Staff can speak many languages. Located downtown, which is an easy walk to most attractions, food, and shops. The one misrepresentation is that I ordered a family room hoping to get 2 queen beds and a twin, and received two queen-king sized beds and a princess carriage bed. We made it work.

Quirky Fun Hotel
This is a quirky, artsy hotel with nice people, comfortable rooms, and a great location. The simple rooms are clean and nicely decorated, and the bathroom and shower great. In room amenties like tea, coffee, soft drinks and soup were a bonus. It's walking distance to the Pier 2 Art Area and the Wharf and Port, with some nice restaurants, and a 7/11, right across the street. They also have a great Laundrey room fir free ( pay for the Dryer). Breakfast was adequate, especially for Asian tastes, but lacking for the Western palette . All in all, a great value.

Famly trip of 4, stayed 3 nights. The 4 beds room just super nice, big space and comfortable. The breakfast has variety options, vegetarian friendly and most importantly it was delicious! Will come back here if visiting KaoShiung again.

It is clean. I like the bath room which is quite big and the most important thing is clean, clean and clean. Have free noodles and drinks not only bottles of water. I like the breakfast very much as the dishes will change everyday and a lot of vegetables, beancurd dishes, and soy milk is good.

3D2N no room cleaning

4 of family trip for 3 days. Spacious family room and plenty of amenities, drink, snack, etc. Even laundry is free. Other visitors are families and we did not have to mind our kid behaviour. 1 minute to 7-11 as well. Excellent for family stay!

Hotel staff sent email on how to reach the hotel, the instruction is clear and useful, however, it was sent 1 day before, and we missed checking the email. Suggest to send email few days or 1 week before. We like the breakfast, and the area is spacious, and the staff managing the area are friendly and diligent. Basement resting area is great, washing machine is free but need to pay for the dryer. The weighing machine for the luggage at the main door is a plus. There is a distance from the hotel to the nearest MRT station. There are complimentary instant noodles and can drinks provided in the room, it is very thoughtful.

Nice hotel about 8 min walk from KRT. Room is spacious with nice drawings on the walls and has free cans of coke and cup noodles. There's an "entertainment" room at the basement where you can use the computer and play some games while waiting for your clothes to be washed and dried. Will definitely stay there again.

Terrible stay!
The room has an attached bathroom and toilets which is supposed to be convenient for the guests. However, there are idiots who blow dry their hair at 4am, for a good half an hour. Left a message at front desk to request that they leave a note / message in the bathroom to advise guests not to use the hair dryer at unearthly hours. Guess what? There's an idiot who is using the hair dryer now, at 1.30am! Not so much of the hotel / hostel 's fault. There can be better sound proofing or better layout (bathroom outside the room), to prevent those inconsiderate people from being idiots. I can even hear people peeing from my bed. Nothing to fault except for the terrible layout (bathroom inside the room).

Great location - near to MRT station and 驳二艺术特区。Friendly, helpful, efficient staffs. Clean and comfortable room. Didn't expect backpacker hotel provide free buffet style breakfast and free shuttle service to MRT station.

I truly like this hotel despite it is not as luxurious as other hotels that I had stayed. The only reason is that the staffs, right from the reception to the room service, are really friendly & helpful. My only complaint is that the breakfast served is a far cry from what it was when I lasted visited few months ago. A really affordable, nice & comfortable place to stay.
