Great Baseball Theme Hotel -
Nice room with theme decoration. Location near to town and night market, friendly and helpful staff, decent breakfast and also included decent free hightea that is out of our expectation

Nice Hotel with Baseball theme
This hotel was around 5-8min walk from the train station. Quite easy to find. Hotel staffs were very very friendly! The breakfast was decent also, quite a spread of chinese food. The room was cozy and nice, bed was nice too. The only thing bad is during our last night (after staying 2nights), there were a weird smell coming from the toilet drain but once the door is closed, no more smell linger in the room. Overall, would recommend this hotel~

Apart from initial first enter the room, smell strong pipe seepage, the rest of the amenities, facilities no complaint. Near the centre train station, 5 min walk to the night market

The solo room was much bigger than I expected, although there was no window. Room looked well maintained. Very convenient location. Good value choice.

No need to like baseball (but I do!) to stay here
The breakfast buffet was plentiful and tasty. And there was a good variety of treats from 3 to 10 PM. The location is most convenient, only a block from the famous 6th St. night market. We would stay here again.

The design of the hotel is very special. It provided food almost the whole day, but the food is almost the same for the tea time. The view of the room is not good (very closed to the other building)

Nice Baseball theme. Stayed twice at this hotel. Superb location, few min walks from Formasa Metro. Liuhe nightmarket is just a stone throw away. Staffs are extremely friendly, cheerful and helpful. Room is big, clean and bed is big pleasant to stay. For the breakfast, Chef is ready to serve you hot fried egg and some delicacies once it ran out..

Convenient location and nice theme. 5 minutes walk from station and Liuhe night market. Breakfast choice was little. Toilet is very spacious but would be great if there is shower curtain so that the floor doesn't get wet. There is strong drainage smell in the toilet.

Enjoyed free flow of desserts, buns, coffee and tea at lobby. Location is good, near subway and night market, within 10 minutes walking distance. But there was no window in our room. Staffs are friendly.

Great breakfast varieties
A big points added of course is their breakfast! They have MANY breakfast variety let me to choose. We wont get bored to eat their breakfast over 5 days 4 nights. Staffs are very friendly, helpful and polite. Hotel is very clean. We use continuously 4 days of their 24hrs self service laundry room. Washing machine is clean too so no need to worry. Our room TV had double images on screen, we told them and they give us a hotel's big mug and apologies us and promised change TV tomorrow, and they did it. Minus Point is room heater temperature is very slow to react your desires degree. Sometimes i felt outside is much warmer then inside, although i already adjust heater temperature to 35 degree. Cooling air is from central aircon systrem so the 1st day we went in we can smell smoking cigar, i think is from next door. and my partner got fever after first night.

A less well maintained hotel
It is an old hotel but they offer free laundry service. There are two units of Panasonic 11L washing machine and two units of non-functioning Panasonic clothes dryer machine. However, they do provide plenty of hangers to dry your clothes in the room. My personal view is I would rather spend 30 TWD to dry my clothes within 20-30 minutes in Jia's Inn. The good thing about this hotel is they are very generous. The teabreak is free with a good variety of food.

Well located hotel in Kaohsiung
Room was spacious and well lit, the beddings were nice n warm. It had plenty of power outlets which made charging devices handy. l liked the bathroom which had well placed hooks and rails for hanging towels n clothing. The staff were friendly and accommodating. On top of buffet breakfast they serve afternoon tea as well. The night market is a short walk away and Kaohsiung Main station is even accessible on foot. The nearest subway station is Formosa blvd, use exit 3 or 4 to reach La Hotel; they have escalators. The hotel has bicycles that you can borrow.

This hotel is worth for what you pay. It is in the same group with LA Inn -- the new one. The location is also satisfied. You can commute via bus, subway or train. Hotel staffs are very helpful. They recommended me a good restaurant for my lunch. This hotel also offers a laundry room free of charge. Anyway, it should be great if hotel can provide spare pillows in each room as the ones that hotel provided on bed were too thin and did not support my neck at all. Finally, what you can't miss in this hotel is their breakfast. It's really extraordinary! Many choices and delicious!

Stayed there for 4 nights at this pretty small and old hotel. There is only one lift serving serving 8 floors, with about 9-10 rooms per floor. What I like are: 1. Washing machine and dryer, which I used once. 2. Pleasant counter staff. 3. Free finger food from afternoon till 10pm is a bonus if you don't want to venture out for meals. 4. It is near a night market. 5. While it is near to MRT station, the nearest MRT exit with escalator or lift is at Exit 1 and 2. These exits are far from the hotel, which pose a problem for me on my first day. Trying to navigate and push luggage isn't an easy feat. 6. Bed - I booked Superior Double Room, but was given 2 single beds joined together. It was pretty hard for my spine when I sleep in the middle of bed. All in all, this hotel offers value for money. Negative aspect: 1. It is noisy at night from 9pm to 10pm+. The rubbish truck goes around the area with a very loud and annoying music. 2. Check-In and Check-Out timings are pretty strict. I reached at 1pm, but was unable to check-in earlier.

Nice Hotel close to LiuHe and train station.
Love the hotel. Becasue we late arrive the hotel, we only had the complementry breakfast the next day. We check-out at 12.30pm next day, left the luggages at the hotel lobby till 5pm. When asked the staff if we could have the aternoon tea, the hotel staff said cannot as we have already checked-out.

Hotel is conveniently located, a stroll from 7 eleven convenience store, within 10 minutes walk to an intersecting MRT lines, Kaoshiung train station that brings you to all parts of Taiwan and not forgetting the walking distance to Liuhe night market which is lined with street food.

Close to MRT and night market.
My wife and baby stayed there for 2 nights and the room already had the crib and tub set up. The room is extremely clean and comfy. The breakfast buffet is beyond my expectation. Staff members (all of them) are friendly and helpful.

I was amazed by the size of the room. It is huge though the room wasn't very fantastic. Basic but it meets my need of accommodating all my family into one room. I was also amazed by the generosity of finger food were available even after the normal meal times.

We booked it seeing all great reviews. Hotel was small and simple, but was clean. Located at a small alley which was not exactly pleasant to walk to mrt daily. Exit 4 from Formosa mrt has the escalator, useful for luggages. But exit 10 is a more pleasant walk for us.

Convenient Hotel with Helpful Staff
Hotel was within expectations for the amount paid. Near to local subway interchange station, which made travelling around the city a breeze. Daily breakfast was included, variety and standard was good. They also serve afternoon tea foc, do check with the counter for exact timings. The only let-down was the pillows too soft for our liking, and didn't sleep too well during our stay. The staff are very helpful on information on travelling when we are checking out on a typhoon day. we are very thankful for that.

Urgent stay to tide over Typhoon
Have to check out from earlier hotel which i dont intend to stay further to tide over the Typhoon period. Early check in allowed and the staff is nice to borrow hotel umbrella for some purchases nearby. They provided some food at regular intervals (breakfast, hi-tea and late afternoon hot food) buffet style. if you are not picky with food and mind you, it's something you would appreciate when everywhere else is closed during the typhoon period.
