Location is good , But the hotel facility Is old. Air-conditioner Temp controller was not working Room temperature was 18° . Only way to increase the temperature is to turn off the air conditioning Then temperature went up to 20° . Room is very small .

Clean room. Great location with restaurants nearby. Close to the Lunar New Year market. Close to Love River. Walkable to Pier-2 area.

Nice hotel near the waterfront. The subway train is nearby about 5 min and take you to airport in about 30min.

more need to be done to be qualified as a 4-star
Hotel.com gave this hotel a 4 star rating , but in my option, it is a 2.5 star hotel. everything inside the guest room are aged. As a four star hotel, the guest room needs an overall remodel. I attached a photo i took as soon as I walked into the room. There was a deflated balloon left on the floor, in front of the sofa. This caused me to wonder how this room was cleaned before my occupancy.

Oldie but still a goodie
Stayed at the hotel almost 20 years ago and to be honest nothing changed much. The channels on the TV are quite limited. But have to say the location of the hotel is near to the subway, the Love River, and good food all within 5-10 mins walk.

Nice hotel with great staff.
Arrived at 12:30pm from Hualien and was checked in immediately even though check-in time was 3:00pm. Very professional and friendly front desk staffs. Closed to many food stalls and restaurants. Near to MRT station, 150m and one stop away from Cijin island where we went for seafood. Enjoyed the wide selection during breakfast. Will definitely stay here if we come to Kaohsiung again.

Overcharged, But Dirty and Old
Bath Tub water was not running well. My feet were soaking into soapy water. Reserved 2 double beds , but ended up have to pay much more to get a 2 beds room. Staffs didn't speak English well , and wasted 1.5 hour to explain what I wanted. I needed to go down stairs several times to tell them what's wrong with my room ( Diapers Smell ). And we needed to change to a small but same high price the next day. It was hassle.

Great base in Kaohsiung
Excellent stay in comfortable room. Very convenient for the metro and travelling around Kaohsiung area. We happened to be in the area during a large typhoon so stayed in the hotel for the day it was happening. Good restaurant and a gym. The staff provided excellent help and we were very pleased overall.

Quick Stay at Hotel Kingdom
I was just in Kaoshiung for a night before moving on with my trip in Taiwan. I was able to quickly get to the hotel from the airport for about 300 NTD. The next morning, I left via MRT the next morning that was just 4 blocks away. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The bed was a little hard for those used to western comforts, but I slept well and enjoyed the stay. Breakfast was included and was a wide variety of foods, including traditional Taiwanese and those that western travelers would be more familiar with.

It's just what I want.
It's a nice hotel with comfortable rooms in a quiet neighbourhood. It's not too far away from the underground railway station. The staff are nice and helpful.

Very comfortable hotel with friendly staff
We booked the room with 3 beds and we were satisfied with the size and comfort of beds. I really appreciated the staff helping me with my request to send my luggages to my next hotel. They filled out the form and called the service provider for me. We ate the breakfast buffet and was satisfied with the variety of selection.
