Took chef’s advice to take evening walk to see Miyajima at night and it was perfect to see the torii gate and shrine at night without the crowds. "The guest house staff were very friendly and helpful however we arrived on a very wet day and everything closed on the island so getting any dinner was not possible. The hot tub was magnificent and the Japanese breakfast excellent. Our room was very comfortable as well. "
