I booked this hotel because I am driving (moving) from Alaska to Colorado Springs with all of my things. I went to Expedia and searched for hotels with pools and hottubs and the heritage inn came up. However it did not mention that their pool is down for several months. I would not have booked here had I known that. I am also traveling with my father reverend Mayfield who is helping me drive. Expedia also forgot to mention that “Heritage Inn” was a CASINO!! I just took my reverend, elder, senior pastor of 20 years father to a casino!!!! and can’t get a refund. EXPEDIA….do better

We have been coming to the Heritage Inn for 15 years. The hotel is old and it is starting to show. The hotel is in need of some TLC. The most aggravating thing was the key cards. It usually took between 4 - 15 times of putting the card in the reader before it would work. Also noticed that the carpet was torn in a few places on one of the staircases to the second level. I called to see if the restaurant was open and the front desk clerk said yes. When we got to the restaurant, it was closed. I guess the clerk considered the casino/bar a restaurant. The staff were friendly. Had an issue with the smoke detector in our room when we arrived. Called the front desk and a maintenance person arrived quickly to solve the issue. Will consider returning here simply because of the pool/attrium area. This is what keeps us coming back. Unfortunately, the pool was closed during our stay but we could still enjoty sitting out on the patio outside our room.

Love staying here! Rooms are a good size, comfy beds, free parking, restaurant and casino onsite. Continental breakfast included is sufficient but nothing fancy. We booked a poolside room this visit as the purpose of our trip was for R & R. However, on arrival we were told the pool was closed as they’re waiting for a replacement part. We were quite disappointed but can’t fault the hotel. We’ll be back!
