I’ve stayed at this property close to 10 times over the last 4 years. However I don’t know if there was a change of management because this last time it was way belo average. 1. I specifically choose this property because it is pet friendly and I was never worry about someone entering my room for housekeeping. However, this time 2 times someone came knocking to my door to check the ac and fire alarm, so I had the constant worry of someone coming in while my dogs were alone in the room. 2. If you plan to have a relaxing day drinking by the pool, out of the question. This has never been a problem in fact they have an amazing rooftop bar, however this time around a guy came and said that no drinks by the pool, we tried to explain that another guy had said that it was ok to have drinks on the pool edge, just not to take it to the middle of the pool, and this guy said that what he said goes and no drinks in the pool. First time this happens, so if you are thinking about having some drinks, and quality time chatting with friends and family by the pool during a hot day, forget it. Advise for the resort, don’t have staff offering drinks for sale to people in the pool if they are going to be asked to go outside. I felt like I was in a school camp. 3. Pool was closed on my last day at the hotel and there was no prior warning. I left the hotel that day at 12:00 pm and had yet to receive a notification about pool being closed. Had to go spend and extra $400 for a day pass at Margarita

Room are very clean, but the corridors carpets not so much , a lot of debrief on the floor that never were cleaned or vacuumed , other than that the servive is good ,staff is kind, the pool was about to close for a 10 day service , was good to know before making the reservations

I did enjoy the Hotel.However it was cery dissapointing that the pool was being repainted.. at No point was this ever mentioned and if this was known i would have not booked with thos Hotel. This was a big let down.. other than placing a piece of paper under the door advising about the pool being inop there was no mention at the moment this was booked thru expedia nor the website.. To me this was sneaky and misleading. This was a birthday Celebration and always look forward to rooftop pool and was devasting and sadden by not being able to enjoy the pool. There should be a clear notification on the the main website and 3rd party website like expedia to advise about the pool. I WOULD HAVE CHOSEN ANOTHER HOTEL!!! And maybe that's why this was not not being told they do not want to lose business. However Costa has lost credibility!! Besides the hotel stay There was resort fee plus valet parking of 40.00 perday is not worth it. With this amount i could have stayed anywhere else in the area!!. Felt deceived and very dissatisfied
