But they were in the process of renovating the roo.s. my room was renovared/nice, but the common areas were in need of remodeling the hall carpet was very soiled etc. The pool was open, but the tub spa was closed and under renovation. To be fair, i was there in the "shoulder mud season" skiing Mammoth. The hotel was not crowded so that time was good for them to begin renovations. Give them credit for that. "I'm afraid Boulder Lodge is taking advantage of its impressive lake views to charge a bit more than is justified. It's the little things: tv not working (intermittent), 3 out of 5 door locks broken, hothouse temperature on 3rd floor. Parking was a minor hassle. WiFi was all but unusable (easily overcome with minor equipment additions). These are things that should be taken care of before they demand a $200+ room charge.
