"Nearly everything about this property is adequate or even nice. We saw evidence of lots of recent paint and improvements, although they do look like a DIY job, since spots are missed. Nevertheless, things look clean and comfortable. Our problem with our stay was that it was 90-100 degrees INSIDE the room when we checked in at 9 PM. I do understand that there's no way to control the Central Valley summer heat, but it seems to me that since we had a reservation days in advance, the proprietor could have turned on the A/C in the late afternoon of our arrival day. Even to bring the temperature down to 75 or 80 would have been a welcome relief from outside and we could have finished off the rest. To be fair, the A/C unit did eventually bring the room down to sleeping temperature, but not until 2 AM, which gave us a restless and short night. If it hadn't been for the extreme heat in our room, I would have awarded Town House five stars, despite the DIY stuff."

"My partner and I LOVED The Elliott House!! We are both flight attendants and we spend a lot of time in airports and hotels so we know a good one when we see it. Our room was so cute and very clean. We can’t wait to visit again. "

"Cabin had comfortable beds and thankfully plenty of fans. Unfortunately ran out of toilet paper first night. Host voicemail not set up and no instructions for Wi-Fi password or TV dish. Friendly cats on the front porch. Keep in mind front door could lock behind you. Nearest grocery is 45 min at a Valero gas station. Excellent food at Pinehurst Lodge bar and grill on the way to/from Sequoia. Minor issues aside we enjoyed our stay at this peaceful cabin."

"The place is quiet. I love that the place is only 30 mins away from Kings Canyon. There is also a Dollar General store across so you can always drive back and forth for some necessities. Pet friendly, with very minimal fee. Bed was comfy, room was well kept with quaint designs, makes you feel at home. It will be nice to have more coffee selections, the coffee had in our room was blah. Overall it was an awesome stay!"

"Beautiful view of the lake. Daily walks during spring season was perfect. Flowers bursting everywhere Very quiet and remote. Extremely spacious. Perfect for multi-families. Internet works great only inside cabin. Joseph was very friendly and very helpful for any questions or concerns. Loved the woodstove fireplace. It was fun to use and kept us warm. "
