I would like to start of by the hotel looks nothing like the pictures. 2nd it’s by the train station so it is surrounded by the homeless who are dealing with mental health crisis. 3rd, when we checked in the clerk was rude and snappy.
During our stay the water main broke in ATL. Surrounding buildings shut down and issues refunds to their guest. This hotel stated if you left you would not get a refund but we can offer you 2 water bottles for the inconvenience. We paid a lot of money per night. All we were offered is there is nothing we can do. At first they wanted to charge you for water which is wild. Employees joking stating we can take a wash up until the water comes back on but it never did. I stayed 2 nights and did not get to shower at all. My restroom turned into a porter potty which is inhumane as ever. We left the hotel and went towards the Braves stadium just to have a restroom to use and that is 12-14 miles away.
We come back and the clerk offers us free breakfast for this morning, but guess what?? If there’s no water then breakfast can’t be provided. When I checked out today, June 1st I asked for corporates number and email and they handed me a peace of paper and didn’t say a word. The paper said it was a 35 mile radius which it wasn’t but once again doesn’t state you’ll receive a credit or refund.
Terrible customer service and zero compassion for others. Employees being rude but they get to go home. I’m from out of town I can’t just get another room.
