"The property sits on a large plot of land separated from the surrounding community and shared with a couple of other hotels, so it feels very safe and is quiet. Quick drive to many restaurants and shopping (5-10 mins away). Quick drive to UCSD (10 mins away). Easy access to the highway, about a 5 min drive away. Clean and large rooms."

"Great property. If you want the full vibe of San Diego / LaJolla surf coast vibe this place is it. Right on the Ocean (we had room 134 probably the best room facing the beach). Shuttle service is great to town and other places. Highly recommended!! "

"I have stayed here many times in the past, it is my go to hotel. It is usually reasonably priced and always clean. I always check price and availability here first when I need to stay in San Diego. My recent trip did not disappoint. It was clean and comfortable. I have nothing negative to say about this hotel. Although, I have never tried the free breakfast, so I can't say how good that is."

"The room was very nice but no view. Breakfast was good. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. No gym was a bummer. Parking price was steep. Homeless outside is ridiculous."

"It was in a great location for the purpose of our trip to San Diego. Very clean and quite. An upgrade on the bed mattress would be nice and the HVAC unit was a little noisy. Check in was very seamless and easy. We plan on staying here again in future visits to the area."

"Fantastic location across from the Pacific Ocean. The owners/managers are friendly and accommodating. However they request check in after 4 pm, but lock up at 5pm. You then have to use the phone provided to be given a combination number to access a locked box containing the room key. A nuisance if you are tired after a long trip."
