"The check-in process was seamless. We got to State College earlier than we anticipated & our rooms weren’t ready, but it gave us an excuse to walk the town. When we did get into our room, it was great. The room was very clean & quite large. Definitely would stay here again. "

"We didn’t eat there but visited the bar. Angel did a great job as bartender/ host . The room was great but no view at all. We had a giant air handling system with a security light right outside our window. Having reserved rooms 2 months ahead I kinda expected a decent view room over last minute bookers. "

"Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Comfortable beds. Breakfast decent. Hot items to choose and waffles, fruit, cereals and muffins. We were passing through and stayed for only one night but would have loved to stay longer. I definitely recommend. Also quiet which was nice. "

"When staying at a historic inn or hotel, I want to see some history. My husband and I enjoyed reading the old news clippings and historic details on the walls. The room, furnished with antiques, was very clean; nothing was sticky and the only noticeable dust was on the TV stand. Breakfast was in a pretty dining room. They accommodated our toddler by giving her cushions to sit on, milk in a child-sized cup, and a straw."

"I had wonderful stay when I went for a Penn State football weekend. It was so homey and Connie and Steve were such great hosts I felt like I was staying with family. The coffee tray outside the room in the morning was a great touch, and the Crème Brûlée French toast (and perfectly crispy bacon) for breakfast was out of this world! I appreciated being an easy drive from the University while away from the hustle and bustle and much more reasonably priced than anything in State College. Thanks also...

"The owner greeted us at upon our arrival. He was very friendly and welcoming. The house and our room was very charming and comfortable."

"A beautiful inn! We stopped while driving north for Christmas and had such a nice stay. The inn was decorated from top to bottom! We had a great sitting room with a fire running when we arrived. Also, there is a charming town within. A quick walk. We saw beautiful homes, had a great dinner and even found Santa in his hut on the street! The breakfast was nice and we enjoyed ourselves so much!!!"
