Most everything was perfect but the noise from the streets was very loud most of the night I couldn’t sleep if they changed the windows would make perfect place

The outdoor and interior aesthetics were excellent! The location was excellent. Hotel staff was accommodating. Dislikes: the bathroom was spacious but poorly designed (e.g. toilet paper location is borderline inaccessible). The bathroom ventilation fan seemed ineffective.

The Mayflower is a lovely place to stay - a little noisy given its location but not unbearable. However, the thermostat in my room was hidden behind a very large lamp leading to a very cold first night before I found it. Also, it would be nice if the Edgar was open later for late night drinks for those staying in the hotel.

The Marriott was perfect for what we needed. Great central location with many transport options very close by. The staff were all very friendly and helpful with anything we required. Great place to stay!

I absolutely loved this property! Staff was extremely attentive, friendly, and had genuinely pleasant demeanors. I ended up checking in around midnight and there were two gentlemen eager to help me get settled. The ONLY complaint I had was valet was $63 per night, for overnight guests. Yes, you read that correctly. I paid $63 to park my car for less than 12 hours. If you’re checking in between Thursday evening and Saturday night, you’ll need to find parking before 7pm or you may be out of luck. You will NOT find street parking and the parking garages will be full. There are multiple clubs within walking distance so the affordable parking will go quickly.

Great property. Marriott timeshare program is being advertised. Whisper hvac replacement program has to be considered by management as they invest in their properties. Definitely a Level 3 property. Thanks for the service.

Our visit was in October 2020 during covid so it was quiet in DC. But the hotel was immaculate, cleaned well, beautiful! Right in the heart of everything. Close to coffee shops and restaurants and monuments. Easily walkable to everything!

The staff was very helpful easy check in and check out. The room was exactly what was shown in the hotel pics. Very comfortable and very safe every one wore their mask and the hotel have plenty of hand sanitizer

Posh lobby, great location, so-so room
Excellent location in DuPont Circle, in a storied, swank and very impressive property. Unfortunately, my room (731) faced an air shaft, with the opposing brick wall just a few feet from my window, and the cleanliness of the room was wanting (the bed looked like it had already been slept in, the desk needed dusting, the shower had mildew).

Vacation Club within Traditional Hotel
I did not see any other floor of the Mayflower, so I don't know how the Marriott Vacation Club Pulse floor compares to the others, but I was very impressed. There was a separate coffee/tea station and concierge on the floor for the guests

Iconic hotel close to metro
Updated iconic hotel. Metro nearby but within walking distance of many sites. Only negatives were low light in bathroom and desk chair not usable for the desk. Room itself was clean and comfortable.
