The Chelsea Hotel is great value for the dollar. It is well situated in downtown Toronto. I went to a show at the Ed Mirvish Theatre which was about a 7-minute walk down Yonge St. I also had a nice dinner in the "Elm Street" restaurant before the show. I informed the server that I was on a timeline and they obliged with fast and friendly service.

Loved how family friendly it was. We loved the kid play room as well as the kids pool. Staff were all amazing. Second time staying at this hotel and we will definitely be back!

Chelsea Hotel is one of our favorite places to stay when we're in Toronto. Its family friendly and is in a prime location. It has a variety of restaurants in the hotel and surrounding area! The staff is absolutely wonderful and accommodating!

Hotel is dated and hallways smell a bit musty. Walls are very thin, could easily hear entire conversations had by people in the rooms beside me when they were speaking at normal volume. I checked in late at night and realized I forgot to pack a toiletry item, asked the front desk and they said they’d bring it to me right away. It took 1.5 hours and speaking to 3 different people to eventually get the item I requested after I was told over and over again it was coming “right away.” Staff are not unfriendly but definitely not friendly either. Very average experience. Nothing special.

The hotel is beautiful. The available cafe and bar was very nice. Our view from our room of the city was great! I really appreciated the seperate adults only pool and jacuzzi on the upper floor. The change rooms, sauna and fitness rooms on the upper floors were well kept and great to use.

I had a great stay here very clean and quiet. Walking distance to a lot of things. Breakfast buffet option with the room was amazing.The pool could of been warmer though. But would definitely stay here again

The staff were amazing. They were friendly and engaging. The hotel is in a good location and close to a metro station and the tourist attractions. However, the hotel is very expensive for what it is. It is very old and dated. It feels like a hotel from a by gone area. I would not stay here again. I would pay a bit more to get a bigger quality hotel.

a little crowded Betty at the front desk is not helpful. My husband arrived earlier and we travelled with a friend. He was quickly turned down by Betty while his friend was checked in by another employee and was able to get a room immediately. This employee also proceeded to help check my husband in and provided him with a room.

We liked the easy access. We did not like the noise from the air conditioning as well as the construction noise from 7:00 am (not the hotel's fault, I admit, but it is annoying).

I think I got what I paid for, was worth the money but it’s definitely not 5 star. Air conditioning was broken one evening which made it almost unbearable but I understand you can’t control it and by the next night it was fixed!

The kids pool area and water slide was a hit with my son. There was a large amount of dining options, everything I tried was delicious. The staff were friendly, helpful and professional. We will plan to come back again.
