Everyone we encountered at the hotel was so hard working, courteous and proactive in their interactions with us. All of the staff we encountered, even those we just past by, offered a warm friendly greeting and an offer of assistance. We felt genuinely welcomed by the hotel staff. The housekeeping’s attention to detail was great down to making sure to dust and wipe down all services and we always had fresh towels, linens and plenty of extra waters in our room. Though the hotel was beautiful and immaculately kept, it was the staff that left a lasting impression. Four Seasons is great hotel brand but the Otemachi staff (even those still learning the ropes) were impressive. We had occasion to witness an employee (perhaps a newer employee/trainee) have a little difficulty with understanding what a guest was asking for. The employee’s reaction after profusely apologizing (there was no need to) took swift action to carry out the guest’s request. After we observed she looked down on herself and her “mistake”. Her supportive senior told her not to worry and that it was just something new she had learned. Such a refreshing supportive team all working together to achieve guest satisfaction! We want to make sure the entire staff is recognized for their teamwork and attention to detail which definitely did not go unnoticed. It was very much appreciated and respected. Thank you!
