We spent an idyllic week at Residence Terra Rossa in April. We found the landscaped gardens inside the gated property to be delightfully peaceful with beautiful views of the coast below. The manager was extremely helpful with directions and information ahead of our arrival, making our late evening arrival and self check-in very smooth and stress free. The pool was lovely, if a little chilly at this time of year. Breakfasts were excellent, and such a beautiful vista to sit and eat on their terrace. All the staff we met were very friendly and helpful, and language was never a problem for us (being only English speakers). We enjoyed walking down the steps to the beach, and up the steps to the old town. A lot of steps as Taormina is such a steep hillside town, but it meant we did not need to drive around or worry about parking. We were a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 teens) and would definitely stay here again.

Enjoyed the experience
Nice place to be based. Views to die for. Suites are a little dated, but overall cannot be faulted. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The Residence Terra Rossa is halfway between The town of Taormina and the beach at Isola Bella which meant very steep walking to either of the places.

Steep hill but AMAZING
Genuinely amazing property. Beautiful views everywhere! Amazing owner with communication. Only thing to note is that it’s important to be able to walk up steep hills if staying here. More than worth it.

We had room 16 (panoramic room) and the views were amazing. This property is mid way between the beach & town, an excellent location. The pool is fantastic, again with a great views of the bay. The only downside was the cable cars not working !! Lots of steps but kept us fit.

Located on the hill below Taormina, 5 minutes to the beach. Great views of the ocean. Beautiful gardens and nice pool area, although more umbrellas are needed. Outdated/basic apartments and uncomfortable bed/pillows.

Studio panoramique, propreté ++. Une vue impressionnante. Matelas un peu fatigué. Piscine avec vue splendide!!! Jardin très bien entretenu et diversifié.

Stunning views of the Middeterenean Sea
We stayed 10 nights in early June and were very happy with out visit. We rented a studio that overlooked the sea and spent every morning and night just enjoying the views from our patio. The rooms were comfortable and clean with a basic kitchenette area to cook some simple meals. The kitchen was not very inspiring as a dining area so we spent all meals on the patio that had a really nice table set. The pool area offers great views of the coastline and the pool is inviting for both children and grown ups. The hotel is located at about 100 meters above sea level and sits right between the Isola Bella beach and Taormina town. Both can be reached by stairs just outside the hotel. Closest restaurants are by the beach but you will find better restaurants in town. Walking to Taormina town was perhaps a bit exhausting since we had a stroller and had to climb quite steep streets to get into town instead of using the stairs. Taormina only have one small grocery store in town so I recommend shopping groceries ahead if you come by car. The hotel offers beer and wine at a decent price. All in all, a really nice visit with stunning views. Good value for money but be prepared to walk a lot of stairs.

la camera necessita di un urgente rinnovamento. freddo nelle stanze, odore di fogna e occorre dotare la stanza di un televisore o meglio di una radio.

Grazie per la Vostra recensionevi ho accompagnato personalmente nella stanza e non mi avete detto niente sul cattivo odore durante il soggiorno, credo che scriverlo su un commento alla fine non sia di aiuto.Tutto quello che è presente nelle stanze e non è indicato sulla vostra prenotazione.Anche prenotare per 2 è venire in 3 anche se un bambino dovrebbe essere indicato sulla prenotazione

Ontzettend prachtige plek met mooi uitzicht! Met veel zorg en aandacht is de omgeving (tuin) van het complex ingericht. Fijn zwembad, vriendelijk ontvangst en receptie waar je koude drankjes kunt krijgen. Inrichting huisje gedateerd, maar netjes en schoon. Geringe keukenbenodigdheden. ‘s Nachts erg stil om ongestoord te kunnen slapen. 10 minuten lopen van het strand, middels trap naar beneden. De klim naar boven kost kleine kinderen/ouderen moeite. Prachtig strand om te kunnen snorkelen!

Prachtige locatie met mooi zwembad. Dicht bij strand, stad en kabelbaan. Heel mooi appartement met prachtig uitzicht.
