Good hotel. GREAT LOCATION. Right in the heart of shopping and food. The train station is one block away. The front desk staff were patient and very helpful. They also spoke perfect English. The room itself was clean and a decent size. I would stay here again.

I stayed there until this morning. It surpassed all my expectations, especially during the huge earthquake in Taiwan on April 3. The hotel’s response was nothing short of exemplary. From the moment we checked in until our departure, everything was flawless, even amidst the earthquake’s challenges. The hotel is brand new and spotlessly clean, making for a very comfortable stay. It’s perfectly situated in a bustling shopping area, with Ximen Station just a stone’s throw away, adding to its convenience. Despite the rooms being slightly smaller than anticipated, this minor detail was easily overlooked thanks to the hotel’s overall perfection. The staff deserves special mention for their genuine friendliness and politeness. Traveling with my cheeky and chatty son could have been challenging, but during the earthquake and throughout our stay, the staff went above and beyond, patiently answering all his questions and engaging him in the most heartwarming way. Whether you’re traveling for leisure or business, with family or solo, this hotel is a fantastic choice for anyone, regardless of age or nationality. I wholeheartedly recommend it for its impeccable service, prime location, and the welcoming atmosphere that made our stay unforgettable, even during unexpected natural events. 謝謝!!! 진짜 최고의 호텔이었어요! 最高のホテルでした！

The Solaria is a wonderful hotel in the area of Ximending. The room was clean and comfortable, housekeeping was always providing clean towels and water throughout our stay. Though our room was next to the elevator bank, it was quiet and we hardly ever heard noise through the door. Staff was always helpful and courteous. Location is key here, close to the MRT and lots of shops/restaurants to explore. When we come back to Taipei we will definitely come back to the Solaria.

The design of the lifts made us feel very safe and secured. We took the lift to the reception, and from the reception, there is a separate lift to go up to our room. And each room key card can only access that particular level. We were also told that the doors at main entrance at level one will automatically be locked at 12 midnight. To go back to the hotel after midnight, you would need to use your room key card. The staff are all very friendly, and some or all of them know how to speak in either English and/or Japanese, which is very useful. The location of the hotel is also very good. We were able to walk to XiMenDing in 5mins, and there is a taxi stand right at the main entrance, which made it so convenient for us to take taxis. We like the hotel very much, and will make it our choice of accommodation every time we are in Taipei!

Nice, clean, relaxing hotel room with great choices of breakfast. Friendly, helpful bi/trilingual staff all around at reception desk and breakfast area.

Generally good, lacks housekeeping services
This hotel is generally a good stay. Modern and new and in a good location. However, don't expect to check-in early (before 3pm) or out later (after 11am) without charges. We had two rooms and requested if we could keep just one room for an hour past 11am to accommodate our departure time, and there is a strict fee of NT500 per hour. Also, housekeeping services are only on alternate days, and they missed cleaning my room even after 2 days. For a 6 night stay, my room was only cleaned once.

Checks all the boxes, but lacks housekeeping
This hotel checks all the boxes. Location, comfort, the room itself is quiet, modern, new, amenities. However, the hotel only cleans your room every other night's stay (most hotels does housekeeping every day). On the day my room was meant to be cleaned, it wasn't cleaned. This meant that I never ever got housekeeping services for a 3 nights stay which does not make for a comfortable stay nor was what I paid for.
