DO NOT STAY HERE! When we checked in we were told we could have a room on the basement floor or a handicapped room. We obviously picked the handicapped room (thinking it'd be bigger which would be fine & who wants a room in the basement). The handicapped room may have been a few inches bigger per regulations but everything else was horrific! The bed was like a rock, pillows flat, toilet seat broken & shower faucet broken so NO HOT WATER! I called the front desk 5 times & let them know we had no hot water & shower handle was broken (just keep spinning around.)I was told "the maintenance was on the way & room _ _ _ has the same problem but he's headed to my room". I called again & I was told the maintenanc couldn't be found. I asked how to change rooms & was told they were sold out. I asked how to get a refund to stay somewhere else & I was told, "You slept there & had hot water." I said "yes, hot water in the sink but I don't take showers in the sink & that's not what I paid for. The front desk told me "if you want, you can use a shower from another room. The housekeepers have changed the bedsheets." I about lost my mind. That is so GROSS & I've never been asked if I wanted to use a different guests shower!! It made me think if other guests were using my room for something!!After an hour we changed rooms & at least got hot water even though we discovered the hot-cold water were backwards in the shower & sink. I was refused a refund the first night! DO NOT STAY HERE
