Staff was exceptionally friendly. Rooms are simple but adequate, and very clean. Really liked the POD style coffee maker.

The property was as clean and the breakfast was extensive (we are talking omelettes, sausage gravy and warm cinnamon rolls) but I won’t be returning to this property. While a relatively new hotel, NEITHER of the USB charging ports by the bed in room 208 were in working order, which I discovered when I fell into bed dead exhausted from several international flights and a 1am check-in. I made this discovery immediately following having showered and unpacked, so it was far too late to move rooms and I was unable to charge my phone overnight. It died and I missed an important meeting the next morning. The bored and disinterested staff person at the front desk that night (who should have been home in bed and not manning the front desk with a case of the sniffles) did little to inspire my confidence that the situation would be made right. If the slightly more competent employee I spoke with the next morning surprises me, and they get back to me within 24 hours with any sort of reasonable compensation for the inconvenience of it all, I will edit this review to reflect such. If not, know that even at $200 /night, this hotel is “hit and miss.” I need my amenities in my room to be functional. There were two USB ports provided. They couldn’t BOTH have broken between guests. It shows poor management and disrespect for one’s guests to leave them in such a state of disrepair. They earned one star each for their breakfast and high cleanliness.

Check in was overly long and cumbersome. We had reserved for the wrong day, non-refundable since the reservation was made on Expedia. Staff was non-sympathetic and gave the impression that we were “lucky” to get the last room (more expensive than the one we reserved), even though it was apparent that there were plenty of rooms available.

Excellent. We enjoyed our stay at Holiday Inn, the location was convenient near the so many shops. The room was near and clean. And we especially enjoyed their breakfast selections. The served so much hot foods which other hotels does not offer. Over all enjoyed our experience. We look forward in booking our stay at Holiday Inn most especially at Portland airport- cascade station.

I picked this property because it was a across the street from a tram stop and had airport van. We were going to bbgame at portland state university and was an easy 20 minute route. Since the tram was under construction, the shuttle was the alternative option. An hour and half later we were at university . We Uber back after game. The biggest problem was the staff at the hotel didnt know the tram was under construction even tnough it was roped off with yellow tape and said it would be under construction for 30 days. Thenight staff person peggy was much brighter

The property itself was lovely! Excellent breakfast options, kind and attentive staff, etc. My only complaint is not about the hotel itself - just that the restaurants available in the area (especially without a car) are quite limited. ( I also visited at a time when the metro line near the hotel was closed for renovations, which further limited my ability to get around the city.) Otherwise, a great hotel and staff!

Nice, clean, large, updated room. No parking for airport long term, which was a bummer. The one thing that was super odd was the elevators were FREEZING!!! We were in the middle of an ice storm but it felt like the elevator shaft was open at the top. They started putting out cold breakfast options at 4am which was nice! We would stay here again.
