This is the best hotel you can get on a budget. In my years traveling to the Bronx on short weekend trips I usually choose cheaper hotels but this hotel has the aura and feel of a luxury hotel. High ceilings, beautiful bathroom, great bed, microwave fridge it really had everything and felt very modern and royal. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars. Governed the area outside of the hotel reminds you that your in the Bronx which is not good but the minute you walk in those doors it feels like your in a different world.

Liked everything with exception of shower. Flowed onto bathroom floor every time creating an unsafe surface. Slipped and fell. Uninjured but bothered. Please remedy situation.

An oasis of comfort in a very busy neighborhood. Inside the hotel, it was nice and quiet. The beds were comfortable and rooms very clean. Breakfast was nice and convenient to have!

The gentleman who was the hotel front desk guest agent took care of us as soon as we walked in. He was so kind and very courteous which saved US dollars on fees to check in. We are grateful we choice this place.

Lage in der Bronx ist etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. Für allein reisende Frauen eher ungeeignet. Aber Hotel mit Frühstück ist zu diesem Preis in ganz NY sonst nicht zu finden.

Het Opera house hotel is zeker een aanrader. Prachtig hotel, schoon en een lekker (gratis!) ontbijt. De omgeving is wat ruig. Het metrostation is nog geen 2 minuten lopen van het hotel dus met de omgeving heb je verder niet zoveel te maken.

Hotel was great, love the history. The neighborhood is terrible, dirty, rats!, garbage on the sidewalks and in the streets. "Don't go out at night" is what we were told upon arrival.

We enjoyed everything about this hotel! It was exceptionally clean (I passed a housekeeper cleaning the hallway baseboards!), the staff was wonderful, and I loved being able to get coffee 24/7! The hotel IS in a neighborhood, rather than tourist central, but the two of us, both female, felt very safe walking around.

Very nice hotel close to the subway. Clean comfortable rooms with a good free breakfast. Only issue was there were few outlets in the room for charging. Front desk was super helpful!
