Location is good but this hotel is very tired and dirty. The check in took 20 minutes and at first I thought my room was an emergency room but my colleague had a similar impression. The bathroom was not very clean, the furnishings were tired, stained and chipped. The bed on the other hand was very comfortable so not all bad.

Le personnel à notre arrivée n’était pas des plus aimable. Les photos sur le site sont trompeuses. Nous avions réservé une chambre avec un lit double. Nous nous sommes retrouvés avec deux lits simples rapprochés. Il y avait deux têtes de lits de lits simples et non une correspondant à un lit double. L’un des deux avait donc « la tête dans les boutons électriques ». La réponse de l’hôtel a été de nous indiquer qu’il n’y avait plus de chambres dans tout l’hôtel correspondant à la photo présente sur leur site. Et qu’à notre soucis de boutons électriques la seule solution était d’enlever les lumières. La douche était quand à elle bruyante. Dès que nous voulions de l’eau chaude, un bruit sourd se faisait ressentir. Par ailleurs le thermostat de l’hôtel semblait déréglé (à la place de l’eau froide nous avions de l’eau chaude). Point optionnel : l’hôtel a besoin d’un bon coup de rafraîchissement.

A very short walk away from the busy streets. Loved the peace and quiet. It was a small hidden gem. If you are from the USA, image a decent motel. Very clean and simple. A 24 hour self check out mini store with essential items.

Otel is very big and the location is great. But i will not coming back because: 1. Staff I checked in with was not helpful at all. He just tried to get rid of me asap. 2. Room was so old. Aircon was not cooling the room at all. The room was boiling. 3. Bathroom was really old. Bathtub was so old that inside was full of yellow marks. Sealing was terrible when showering it flooded. Toilet flush was from first ages. Overall, i only liked the location.

Staff unwelcoming, miserable looking and none greeting. They appear robotic on reception gave us the door card and directions to our room, we didnt even receive a 'Hello!'. Need retraining in hospitality etiquette. Room very poor, tired and noisy. Smoke detector flashed constantly all night. I don't recommend staying here. The Holiday Inn, looks nicer and lits located right beside it.

When I arrived, thermostat wasn't working properly and room was hot. I called front desk. Ten minutes later a maintenance man arrived and fixed the problem. Other than that, everything was excellent.

Location of the hotel is great, tube is just around the block, safe and clean neighbourhood. I have just one complaint about our check-in. The first guy behind the desk gave us non working lift/room cards, that was sorted out with another lady who was very kind, but then we came with working cards into occupied room from another guests. So we had to go back to the lobby and sort this out. We got another room, cards were working this time and additional bed for our child was brought right away as promised. It was all sorted pretty quick. The rest of our stay was fine, lifts working fine, everything smooth, fridge was working in the room, so aal good apart from check in situation. Once more I really liked the location of the hotel. Really convenient for travelling around or coming from airport, all done by tube or walking. We had really nice time in London we would surely come back.

In die Jahre gekommenes Mittelklassehotel, der angegebene Ökostandard erschließt sich mir nicht. Sehr laut, liegt an den Gleisen der Ubahn und leider auch sehr sehr hellhörig. Schöner Blick über South Kensington wenn man eines der höher gelegenen Zimmer hat. Personal sehr freundlich. Frühstück völlig überteuert lieber in der Nachbarschaft frühstücken dort gibt es tolle Cafés.

I stay in a lot of hotels for work around London so think I can give a balanced view. I stayed at this hotel as it came within budget and the double club room promised some element of comfort/luxury- alas it didn't. On arrival, a large group were checking in, with only two on the check in desk it was an incredibly slow process. Despite checking in online when I did get to the desk this took much longer that I would usually expect. On arriving to the room- it needs some TLC, it's very tired. The windows were filthy and grimy, carpet starting to show wear, tiles in the bathroom not quite fitted properly, poor bathroom fittings, stick substance left on the table, and an ancient air conditioning unit. The air con unit just didn't work, I spent the first night roasting- I got through three bottles of water as I was so parched, and there are of course no opening windows. I did ask at reception the next day and maintenance were sent up and did fix which helped cool the room down. There are many other hotels in the area and across London charging similar prices or slightly less for a much better, nicer, higher quality experience. If you just want a room to get some kip before a flight or something then this will be fine- but don't expect too much!
