「We had such a nice time at this hotel and the staff are warm and excellent! The fresh ground coffee for the French press was a nice touch. The hotel is older and has charm. We stayed in the older building. Rooms are spacious and our whole family could gather in one room before going back to our own. The beds and pillows are not the most comfortable but OK. 「We planned a short getaway to Friday Harbor with our two small children. I booked the room with the garden terrace not quite knowing what to expect. WOW! Although we felt a little awkward with the kids (most people staying there at the time did not have kids), we were very warmly welcomed by the staff. 「The furnishing are a bit worn out but everything was CLEAN and thats the most important thing. The room was really big and beds were comfy. One bed had a traditional mattress and the second a foam style. The motel was quiet and the location was perfect for a longer stay in Anacortes or if jumping on a ferry in the morning.
