Good point: the room is neat and comfortable.
Bad point: the response is inefficient and too late.
The staff told me that we can directly check in at the hotel site by following the instructions in an email she sent, but I neither got the email nor received a proper response via LINE talk.
I had no choice but to go back to the reception counter near Kyoto station (20 min by walking), finishing the check-in procedure. There should be a more efficient and convenient way for those who may need to check in at the hotel site.
