"Very new, clean and thoughtfully designed hotel literally a stone throw away from the local Hashiguiiwa Rocks. Water view rooms have an amazing view of the rocks from above, which alone is worth the stay. Comfortable large long bed and pillows you would expect at an international hotel chain. "Like the hotel, rental car package arrangement. The rooms are simple but spacious. Pillows tend to be a bit hard (standard Japanese style) but beds are wide. "For those who are looking to luxuriate in the onsens of the Kii península… This is a place not to be missed. "The bathroom had a pretty funky smell that never went away, and it seemed that their answer was to put a tiny bag of potpourri next to the toilet, but it could have used a more thorough cleaning. Otherwise, a very nice and helpful staff, great free shuttle for local hikes, and decent breakfast and dinner. Quiet and lovely spot by the river where many people were enjoying the water."

"We had an amazing time at this hotel. We would return for sure. The outdoor onsen is beautiful and even thought there were other guests in the hotel, we were the only one using them, so it was quite relaxing. The staff members were so welcoming and friendly, the food was just impeccable. At breakfast time until we left, there was a pianist playing the piano. He was fabulous. We loved everything!! "
