I loved Chichis and Charlie’s because of the locations being only steps away from the blues of the ocean. There were free lounging areas, and although simple, the free breakfast was enjoyable because of the views. Our room had amazing views being on the third floor, and I will book the same room when we return. For the price, we didn’t expect anything special, and we did get the minimum of things: nice large bed, 2 sets of clean fresh towels, some soap and shampoo, and AC that allowed us to escape the humidity at the end of the day. We slept so well with the AC on. The restaurant of the hotel located right in front of the hotel closed at 8 pm, so everything was quiet except for the bars behind the hotel. We could hear karaoke and rap music until 4 am. Just shut the bathroom windows. Our room got cleaned up everyday, so we were able to use fresh towels when we returned to our room. We loved the views from our balcony, and we will surely book again in the future.

You are literally on the beach was amazing to get up and not even have to put shoes on to get to the beach. Served breakfast in the am eggs/toast/fruit choice of two items.

This place is everything that is good. View of the sea, you leave the hotel and you are next to the beach. It includes umbrellas and that is excellent. It also has a restaurant where I tried some of the most delicious food. Without a doubt I would return.

Loved the location!! Right on the most beautiful (imo) beach on the island. Spectacular sunset views. Room is very basic, but clean & comfortable- bed & pillows could be more comfortable- but not terrible. WiFi signal not good in the room. Often no signal at all, better on the balcony. Continental breakfast was toast, fruit, coffee, & juice for 5 days - Today it was eggs & toast? We were told day one that we had to rent chairs - so we went to the Mayan beach club (was a better deal- same beach). Then day 2 - when I asked again how much for chairs - was told they’re complimentary for hotel guests. Hotel is no frills - BUT, good value- nice & clean - and cannot beat the location! Could walk either direction on the beach and easy walk to ferry terminal, restaurants, & shopping. We would stay again!! For reference we were in the older part of the complex, basic king room.

On the North beach, fantastic view. Clean, reasonably priced, good water pressure, easy going and friendly staff. Approx. 15 min walk from the ferry terminal. Small tv, need to bring your own HDMI cable if you want to watch Netflix…etc. Just a warning not quiet until approx. 2am, as the bars/beach clubs don’t close until late. Close to all restaurants and amenities.

It's literally on the beach, best location on the island, facility is outdated, but everything works. - bed in the small room is really uncomfortable, probably an old couch - no ac in the small room, Only fan that is too noisy and dirty.

We had a great stay here, best sunset view on the Island by far...restaurant & bar staff were great (thanks Alfredo, Jorge & Edwin). Not an overly fancy "resort room", very simple in fact, but very clean and staff was friendly and we went for the beach and location not the room! We'd stay again...

Great place to stay on Isla Mujeres. As soon as youre off the ferry, turn left then follow the main street down until you hit sand. Honestly, if youre looking for a beautiful place and a local feel, this hotel has what you need. The view and sunsets are amazing. Right on the beach. The guys who work here are helpful and great to deal with. Walking distance to everything on the island so when the restaurant downstairs closes, its a 2 minute walk to get to the incredible night life on the island with tons of local restaurants and bars. Complimentary toast and fruit in the morning sitting at a table with the sand between your toes. The rooms are decent size and the AC is great. Just be aware (this didnt deter us as we booked knowing this info already) the beds are uncomfortable, the water pressure is not good and it can be loud at night from people up late or people working around the property at night. So bring ear plugs JUST IN CASE. We didnt go for a 5 star hotel experience. We wanted the location, mexican culture and the island. So if youre not one to be picky about the 2-3 star accommodation, then stay here for the view and location (especially for the reasonable price) This hotel was perfect for us and we would definitely stay here again.

Great location, clean rooms, amazing staff. Our shower head needed replaced and several days the seagrass was terrible to a point the smell was so bad we had to move back in our loungers. That should be picked up all day as it comes in. The beach and water across the wave break ended up being our go to in front of nautibeach because of this issue. All in all loved the location, rooms cold and clean. Would’ve liked a microwave and coffee pot. But I’d stay again.

I told him that’s not the room I booked and all I got was yah no it’s not available ….. was very disappointed! The location is perfect , drinks and food fantastic ! It’s so beautiful not to enjoy !

Excellent emplacement sur la plage Norte sinon le meilleur. Notre chambre avait vue sur la mer et en sortant on a les pieds dans le sable. Plusieurs commodités dans la chambre un meuble de construction récente pour y déposer au moins 2 valises une barre avec des cintres au dessus. Plusieurs chaises longues disponibles sur la plage pour les clients de l’hotel. L’hôtel est situé comme au début de la plage Norte ce qui fait qu’il y a un peu moins de monde sur la plage et dans la mer que devant les hôtels voisins qui sont tout simplement bondés de monde. Le déjeuner est très sommaire et la serveuse est complètement désorganisée et antipathique. Par contre la bouffe du restaurant de l’hôtel, directement sur la plage est excellente et à prix raisonnable et les serveurs sont tous gentils. Pas de sèche cheveux ni coffret de sureté. J’y retournerai sans hésitation.

The property is showing its age - and is pretty bare bones - but you cannot beat the location. One thing I wish someone had told us - they do not provide beach towels. With two little kids in and out of the water all day - and 4 adults as well - we were using bath towels and they got sandy and were useless then for bathing . The hotel does not appear to be happy about providing fresh towels - so bring some microfiber beach towels - they pack small and work fine.

We had a great stay! We aren’t super picky, but here are a few things I wished I had known. Our room was minimal. No nightstand lamps, only 2 bath towels and a bath rug, no wash cloths or beach towels, no room safe. So make sure to bring your own towels. Don’t let the workers try to sell you beach chairs and an umbrella. As a hotel guest, you get them for free. We had an end room, and the music at the restaurant next door began blaring at 9am every morning, so be prepared. The food at the restaurant was ok, service was slow, and we noticed they would rather kayak food orders to the anchored boat tours than take orders from the beach chairs/hotel guests, but luckily, we brought snacks to hold us over and go out for big dinners. The best part was the convenience to the beach! Literally, a beachfront property with sand all the way up to your door. Be ready to drag your suitcase through the sand to get to your room, but what an amazing sunset view at Chi Chi and Charlie’s.
