服務和設施皆很棒的飯店

早餐很豐富，離碼頭及市中心稍遠，走路約15-20分鐘，但服務跟設施都很不錯，也有幫忙將行李送到碼頭的免費服務，飯店景色也很棒，值得入住。

Great but expensive

Great to have luggage transfer from pier. Arrived early, staff was friendly helped us to check if room is available. Although it was not ready they still gave us a towel card to use the pool. Room was clean, neat and tidy, decoration could be better. Seaview room got really good views but bit too expensive for standard. Air-con is weak. The pool is fantastic but somehow the way to the beach was blocked.

Nice resort, but far from Asian resort standard

It is a nice resort in Hvar with nice pool and beach (rocky one, not sandy one). The rooms are nice and tidy, although rather small (even though we picked a room with balcony). It takes 10-15 minutes to walk from the Hvar town to the hotel. There is no formal car park in the hotel, although you can compete with others to park along the private road entering the hotel. The spaces are full before 8pm. If you are from Asia like us, don't expect the hotel to be of Asian resort standard. The pool is badly decided for example the slide fails. There aren't many activities and facilities in the resort. Staff is not as nice as their Asian counterparts, and everything is simply commercial - even bottled water in room charges excessively. The breakfast is nice though - particularly the wide variety of tea leaf choice is impressive. Well this may be the best resort in Hvar, but considering the price, if you are a frequent traveller in Asia, don't expect this one to match any 3 or 4 star Asian resorts.

Nice enough hotel. I stayed in off peak and it was full of Brit’s and stag parties. Could only imagine peak season. Rooms are very dated and bathrooms are somewhat ridiculous. No mirror in front of you and you have to turn your head 90 degrees leaning over sink to see mirror. Have to climb in and out of shower bath. And if you use a hair drier, bring your own. This is like from a motel from the 70’s and is physically attached to the wardrobe in the bedroom and not the bathroom. Rooms needs major refurb given price and the carpets are filthy along with dozens of spiders infesting the roof. But hotel is nice, pool is great, bars and staff are fantastic. Just be warned that in peak it may be a very crazy, busy and loud place to stay with the crowds who tend to stay here. Wouldn’t stay again as I would stay right in town as you don’t need a pool.

Amazing place. Beautiful grounds, great pool. Access to the beach for swimming. Rooms were fab. Buffet breakfast was excellent. Great location just walking distance from the main area.

You need to walk about 15 min from the ferry pier. But luckily , the hotel help to deliver your languages so that you can have a free hand to/ from the hotel.

Beautiful property with freezing pool. The pool swim up bar was closed the whole time. Breakfast was amazing. Staff were very nice and helpful. Our room was a little small, but had a nice view. I would stay here again.

The AC was not working in our room and staff didn’t seem that concerned. They put us in a different room the first night at 11pm because it was so warm but that room didn’t cool down either. Maintenance came by and changed air filter but that wasn’t the problem. Hotel didn’t do anything accommodate us even after I told them my friend had heart issues.

Love that they meet you at the ferry and take your bags. The walk to the hotel is much more enjoyable without luggage. Hotel is huge! Rooms are modern, very clean, a bit tight in size but we’re out enjoying Hvar so that’s fine. Bed is ok…. A bit firm. Love the bathroom products but note there is no blow dryer or washcloths.

Reception not very welcoming, not helpful in finding our room which was as far from reception as it could be down multiple corridors, stairs, etc. Room had many broken items that we stopped asking for assistance. Was probably a great hotel when it first opened, but just seems to be running on autopilot now with hotel admin staff uninterested in making a great experience for guests. (serving staff was better).

Wonderful stay at Amfora

During our recent stay we were extremely happy with the level of professionalism and service from all staff. Exceptional responsiveness and willingness to help make our stay comfortable. They truly went out of their way to ensure all details were taken care of, so we could enjoy our vacation. The transfers to and from our hotel were seamless, especially getting back to Dubrovnik for an earlier flight. Thank you for going above and beyond to create an incredible experience.

The view and the pool were very nice. Hotel staff not personable. Corridors and rooms were communist area. Could not control the AC. It was either off or on. Tub would not drain. Bed and pillows were very hard and uncomfortable. Don’t know why this property makes the list of best in Hvar at 4 stars. By US standards it’s a 3.

Looked much better on the internet than in real life. We stayed here in a suite during late summer 2023. We had high hopes but were severely disappointed. Pros: 1. Location - ten-minute stroll to the vibrant waterfront / dock area of Hvar. 2. Easy to use wifi (when it worked). 3. Decent (not great) breakfast buffet, Negatives: 1. Dysfunctional rooms with very little storage or shelf space, both in the room and in the bathroom. Our junior suite was smaller than the regular room we’d had at another hotel in Dubrovnik. 2. Old, outdated rooms. Our suite had filthy carpeting, a wobbly couch with stains all over it. 3. Everything seems to cut corners. They leave only 2 bath towels (tiny and so thin that they barely dry a person after a bath or shower) and 2 hand towels. This is not expected for a luxury hotel. Also, they don’t leave you with extra anything (toilet paper, tissues) in the room. So you’d better hope you don’t run out. 4. Service - they just don’t seem happy to work here and it shows. Many of the people (breakfast buffet) are efficient but not customer-friendly. 5. Bedding is hard and not enough pillows or blankets. 6. Cleanliness - there was a dirty band-aid on our floor when we checked in. Gross. 7. Sporadic wifi. 8. Crowded pool - can’t even get in/our of a lounge chair from the side - must climb in from the foot because they are all wedged together. We’d go back to Hvar, but NOT this hotel.

On arrival iwe were overwhelmed by the size of the hotel and found it difficult to find the room. However we soon got used to it . The pool was wonderful with plenty of sunbeds. It was in easy reach of the town . Perfect location. The breakfast was amazing. Everything possible was there.

La posizione di questo hotel è strategica, direttamente sul mare, con una bella spiaggietta di piccoli ciottoli e una grande piscina. Con una piacevole passeggiata di 10 minuti (uscendo dalla pisicina) si raggiunge il centro di havr e il porto. L'hotel è molto grande e un po' caotico, ma comunque si riesce a godersi il relax e la bellezza del mare. Colazione continentale buona e molto abbondante. Da migliorare la cortesia dello staff, un sorriso non guasta mai soprattutto in un grandhotel come questo. Camera vista mare, non grandissima ma comunque dotata di ogni comfort. Consigliato!
